"Next trainer up to battle is... Wake!"

How is it possible for these guys to get any bigger?

As Y/n finished applying the potion to Nidoran, his new opponent stood up and walked to the field. This man was now three times Y/n's height, with biceps that were easily the size of a Voltorb. The ground seemed to shake with every step, as Y/n stood up on his side of the field.

"Holy Arceus," Grady breathed, "What are they feeding these guys? He could crush Y/n with a single step!"

Y/n and his opponent stood apart from each other, each one measuring each other up. There was very little fear in Y/n's eyes, only determination. He and Togepi exchanged a curt nod, before
Togepi leapt from his shoulder and onto the field.

He was met by Wake throwing out a pokeball, letting loose a mighty Seal.

"Seel!" The white Pokemon cried, it's arms flapping together wildly.

"Trainers, get ready..." Christine yelled into the mic, "Let the battle begin!"

"Seel, Ice Beam!"

The Seel clapped its arms together once more, as the air around its mouth began to fog and chill. It reared its head back and leaned forward, shooting out a beam of ice at Togepi.

The small baby Pokemon jumped backwards, leaping out of the way of the attack just in time for it to strike the ground and create a spire of ice where he once stood.

"Alright Togepi!" Y/n called, "Use Extrasensory!"

"PI!"

Togepi responded to his trainer's call, launching the attack towards his water type opponent. Seel took the brunt of the attack, sailing backwards through the sky. It landed in front of its trainer, who stopped down to speak encouragement to it as it got back up.

"You good buddy?"

Receiving a bark in response, Wake gave a nod.

"Alright buddy!" He called, "Let's get 'im with a Water Pulse!"

Seel launched back into position, shooting out a blast of water that struck Togepi on full force. Togepi was launched head over heels backwards, rolling on the ground towards Y/n. He pushed himself back up, looking towards his opponent.

"Togepi, hit it with-"

"Water Pulse again!"

The pulse of water shot out towards Togepi and knocked him down again, this time sending him flying out of the arena. Y/n ran over to where he landed, kneeling down and picking him up it his arms.

"Are you hurt?" Y/n asked, looking over the small egg Pokemon for injuries, "Are you okay?"

"Toge..." Togepi said, shaking his head for clarity, "Togepi!"

"Are you sure?" Y/n asked with concern.

"Pi-pi!"

"Alright buddy, I'll trust you on this one..."

Togepi stood back up and charged into the stadium, standing in front of Seel. As Y/n returned to his position, the entire stadium watched in anticipation for the egg pokemon's next move.

Only for him to start to dance and wave his tiny arms.

The entire audience began to burst into laughter, as they watched the display. Y/n gritted his teeth in anger, and both Leaf and Grady looked around at the crowd around them.

"SHUT UP!"

Y/n's shout silenced the entire stadium, freezing them all into place except for Togepi. Togepi's dance had only gotten more fervent, his tiny arms waving around.

"What's he doing?" Grady asked.

"Oh my Arceus," Leaf gasped, "He's using Metronome!"

As if on cue, dark clouds began to grow above them in the arena. They cracked and flashed with lightning, as Wake and Seel looked up in fear.

"Seel, finish this quick!"

Seel responded to its trainer quickly, shooting forward and charging towards Togepi. It charged up a Water Pulse in its mouth, as the clouds above got larger and larger.

Seel got within a foot of Togepi, as the lightning began to fall. They seemed to reach there targets at the same time, launching up a cloud of dust and dirt that obscured everyone's vision.

As the dust slowly cleared, leaving everyone coughing and sputtering, only one combatant was left standing.

"Togepi!"
