*Third Person POV*
We rejoin our heroes, awakening from a deep night of slumber. Y/n was the first to walk out onto the street, leaving the room that was shared between him and Grady. Joined by his egg-shaped partner and poison type, Y/n began to walk down to the Pokemon Center, on his way to get something to eat.
As he arrived at the door of the Pokemon Center, he recognized someone he wasn't expecting. Keith, Mr.E's butler and messenger, stood near the counter of the center, tapping his foot lightly.
*Y/n POV*
"Keith, what's going on?" I asked, "I wasn't expecting to see you here."
"Ah, Mr.Ketchum," He said, "I've been waiting. There's something that Mr.E wanted me to deliver to you."
He reached into his coat and pulled out another letter, holding it out. I instantly recognized the wax emblem that held it shut, the red stamp of an 'E'staring right back at me.
I took it and tore off the emblem, opening the envelope. The paper inside was pristine white, Mr.E's writing as neat as it was previously.
It read:
"Dear Y/n,
I would like to begin this letter by congratulating you on your recent win against Christine at the Cerulean City Gym. You truly gave it your all, and the footage was fantastic. It's bound to get us some great PR going forward.
I look forward to what you have for the future, as do many of your new fans.
However, I must ask you to check up on something for me before you go on with your adventure.
An employee of mine, the man responsible for maintaining the Pokemon box system, has recently gone silent. He hasn't been responding to my calls, emails, or even my letters. It's most likely that he has been working on something and has gotten wrapped up in his own head, but I'd like you to check first.
I need him to get back to work. Many people have been complaining about glitches and broken computers, so I really do need him back. His name is Bill, and he lives north of Cerulean.
Thank you and good luck,
Mr.E"
"Huh so I guess we just gotta find this Bill guy and-"
Looking up, I noticed that Keith was completely gone. He had just disappeared into thin air as I was reading.
The doors of the Pokemon Center slid open, revealing Grady and Leaf. Their Pokemon followed behind, as they walked in and towards me.
"Hey, what's with..." Grady yawned, "What's with the letter?"
"Mr.E want's us to go see the guy responsible for the Pokemon boxes," I replied, "Apparently he's been slacking and we have to go get him back to work."
"Alright," Leaf said, "But first... breakfast."
"Absolutely."

*Third Person POV*
Leaving the Pokemon Center full of food and now fully awake, Y/n and his companions examined their map. Locating the exit they were looking for, they began their journey out of Cerulean to the north.
Stepping on the bridge and towards route 24, Y/n felt a strange chill down his back. It was as if he was being watched from every corner, every shadow hiding someone watching him.
Looking over his shoulder, he saw something quickly duck behind a tree, only a blurry shadow as he turned quickly.
"Y/n?" Leaf asked, turning, "What's wrong? Do you see something?"
"N-no, no," He replied, "I just... feel like someone's following me."
"Weird," Grady said, Kabuto sitting on his shoulder, "I feel it too. Let's get this done with so we can go."
The group continued on their way to Bill's house, unaware of anyone following behind.
The shadowy figure peaked out from around the tree, revealing themselves to be Jennifer of Team Rocket.
She watched as the three continued on, her focus on Togepi, poking out of Y/n's bag. An evil smirk crossed her face, as her eyes followed the three to their destination.
"Soon, I'll show you why you don't mess with me."
