"why the long face "  I quickly realized who it was my number one best friend , she sat down on the table and opened her legs
"Do you want these boys to faint?"
I asked raising my head
"What do you mean", she spoke with a mouth full of chin chin
" Look at how they are looking at you like hungry wolves "
"Let them look what do they want to see"
After minutes of discussion she sat close to me
" What's wrong seriously "
" Well my dear best friend today have been so terrible "
" I told you to sleep on time didn't I "
" But a new episode came I just couldn't miss it "
" Oh please Lexa you are just lazy
" Me! lazy ? I am not lazy "
" Oh really"
Kehinde said looking at me like I have committed murder
" No I ...." I trailed off being star struck by a beautiful face , kehinde snapped her fingers repeatedly but I still didn't come out of my day dream
" Why are you like a statue "
When she said that I finally came back to reality
" Huh? What were we talking about?"
" What the heck where you looking at "
She then turn to the direction I was looking and was also star struck by the Adonis god
" OMG it's Levi "
Kehinde said referring to the tall fair very adorable boy I was looking at
"Who is that" I asked
" Levi na or are you blind " said a jealous voice we both knew who it was the last member of our group Miracle .
   We have been best friends seems forever and even started primary school together . " And which Levi?"
i asked
" Wait Levi from SS1 with pimples , need glasses and braces " kehinde spoke
" That's the one " miracle said
" You are kidding " I  spoke surprised by how much he had changed "
" I know right that's some major make over " kehinde said
" Will you guys stop drowling he is not that cute " miracle said with a pout
I had been our only male friend and hates when we keep going on about boys
" What's with the attitude " kehinde asked
" Hey just saying he is not that cute " he mumbled
Sensing the jealousy we ran and hugged him
" Of course he is not cute no one is as cute as our miracle " I said grabbing his cheeks
  
     The day  came to an end ,well for every one except for the poor student who were chosen to represent their class as class rep during the student council meeting after school , school ends at four and the meeting was to five . Unfortunately I was chosen by my classmates to represent ss2 B science which of course I don't like , in fact no one likes these meetings because I came late those devils decided to pick me , did I mention that I hate today
  "Bye " I said to Miracle and kehinde as I envied the fact that they don't have to stay for another hour .
I walked to the student board room where the meeting was to be held and sat down all alone as I was the only person there , after few minutes I beemed with joy as I saw Levi walking in with his cool bad boy vibe, I guess he was representing ss2 b art . I quickly sat close to him , he waved at me and stated a conversation , the meeting started but neither of us was paying attention . I guess things can turn out for the best after all.

    " So what happened next " kehinde asked ,I was on the phone with her telling her all that had happened
" Well we talked through out the meeting , I don't even remember what was said "
" Aww!!!" She screamed
" That's so cute " she continued
" I know right "
" Uh Alex
" Yeah
" Do you like Levi  , are you calling in love ?"she said dramatically
" What ? Don't be so extra it's just a crush
" Really? Alexa Rotimi Segun" " whats with the full name "
"Look at the girl that said she won't be involved in any romantic relationship
  " What ?"
" It's not you Lexi "
" What is not me , I am a human can't I live a little "
" Okey fine s, even if you are madly in love with him I am happy for you "
," No be only , please just one day and you have already jumped into conclusion"
" I am so happy my little catapillar is now a beautiful butterfly "
"Please kehinde always do dramatic " I said and we both laughed it off.
     I was in my room pondering over what kehinde said l really do not need distractions but... My thought where cut short when Abel my brother bagged in saying dinner was ready , after dinner being the nerding girl I am , I studied for two hours and was about to head to bed , I grabbed my Mac book and open face book searching for Levi , feeling like a creep I close the laptop ' come  on Alex he is just a boy ' I reminded my self and went to bed .
