The day started out as pleasant as it could have been. We were still held captive by the Lannisters, while Robb became closer and close to taking down Tywin Lannister.
Walking to the door of mine and Sansa's chambers after hearing a knock, i opened it to see two gold cloaks standing on the other side.
"The King requests your's and Lady Sansa's presence in the throne room."
I looked at Sansa before nodding to her. This can't be good.
The whole walk down to the throne room was silent except for our footsteps.
We strode in arm in arm down the middle of the room, the Lords parting to let us walk to the front of the steps.
Not saying a word, the guards pushed Sansa to her knees before grabbing both my arms, holding me away from my sister.
Joffrey stands from his throne with a crossbow loaded in his hands. He aims it as Sansa as i scream out, "No!" I look as Sandor, but he didn't meet my gaze.
"You are both here to answer for your brother's latest treasons."
"Your Grace, whatever our traitor brother has done, Sansa had no part. You know that. I beg you, please," I begged from the sidelines. He didn't move his gaze from Sansa.
"Ser Lancel, tell her of this outrage."
Lancel Lannister walked forward saying, "Using some vile sorcery, your brother fell on Stafford Lannister with an army of wolves. Thousands of good men were butchered. After the slaughter, the Northmen feasted on the flesh of the slain."
"And how do you know this if you weren't even there!" I yelled at him.
Joffrey ignored me, "Killing you would send your brother a message."
I struggled against the guards, baring my teeth as Sansa cried.
Joffrey sighed, lowering the crossbow, "But my mother insists on keeping you alive. Stand." He walks back to the throne and set his crossbow down next to him as he sits, "So we'll have to send your brother a message some other way. Meryn."
I looked from Joffrey to Sansa, struggling to free myself as i saw Trant walk down the steps towards Sansa. "You touch her and i'll kill you, do you understand me!" I screamed at the gold cloak.
"Leave her face. I like her pretty." Joffrey smirks at me as he says this.
Not knowing what to do, Sansa just stares as Trant punches her in the stomach. Sansa crumples forward in pain.
"You bastard! I'll kill you!" The guards holding me were having a hard time holding onto me at this point.
Trant then knocks Sansa back to her knees. Sansa sobbing from pain.
"Meryn, my lady is overdressed. Unburden her."
Trant walks behind Sansa, using his knife to cut open the back of her dress. Sansa grabbing at the front, holding it up over her.
Finally i got one arm free, reaching over and punching the other knight right in the face. Making him release me to hold his face. I turn back to the other guard, grabbing his sword and kneeing him in the groin.
Running over in front of Sansa i point the sword at Trant. Sandor taking a small step forward before stopping. "Why don't you fight someone who can fight back."
"If you want Robb Stark to hear us, we're going to have to speak louder." Joffrey said, not even caring that i had a sword pointed at his gold cloak. The look in his eye was one of excitement. He was loving this.
