One: We're going to college!

Riley's POV.

"Yeah, I'm fine" I told my dad on the phone.

"I'm not driving and talking I'm parked in front of Maya's" he was so stressed with me going to college, stressed but happy.

"Yes, I double checked my list of things to take to college" I nodded

"Is Auggie excited?" I asked, it was Auggies' first day of seventh grade

"Okay, tell mom I'm fine"

"Dad, Maya is entering the car. Talk to you when we get there"

"Mhm, byee" I hung up

"Who are the hottest freshmen in the NYU?" I asked

"Ooh, stop it" Maya and I said at she same time, it was an old joke

"Okay, what are we waiting for?" Maya asked and I started driving.

College was 5 hours away.

"Oh my god I love this song" I laughed and put the volume higher.

We sang like crazy for two hours straight and then we stopped at a gas station to grab something to eat.

"Oh my god I can't believe we are actually going to college" I said

"I can't believe your parents payed my college" Maya replied

"You're a part of the family, why wouldn't they?" I started "if we're like sisters they're like your parents, plus we see you daily since..." I stopped talking.

Since Maya's mom passed away..

"Yeah, I know, I'm glad you help me with all of this. But let's not think about this stuff, let's think about what kind of sandwich will we buy" Maya smiled and grabbed my hand as we entered the 7-Eleven.

Maya's POV.

"It's like a cheeseburger, but a hot dog, never seen one of those before in my life and I'm pretty sure I want one" I smiled

"Two please" Riley said and took out her wallet.

"No no no no, I'm paying" I smiled and took a 20 dollars bill "Add two cokes to that, diet please" I smiled and payed

We sat on a table next to the door and started eating.

"What time is it?" I asked Riley

"It's 11:30a.m." Riley said

"Good, we have like three more hours, we will be there by 3:30p.m." I added

"So.. How are you and Farkle?" I asked

Riley and Farkle had been dating since 11th grade, they were inseparable but Farkle got an early full scholarship on Stratford so he skipped senior year and they didn't see each other frequently.

"We skype every night" she smiled "he will come to visit as soon as he can"

"I'm glad you two are taking the distance thing so good" I told her

"Yeah, you get used to it"

"Okay, I think we should go now" I suggested

"Sure" she said and we went back to the car

The rest of the trip was cool, we sang and laughed and talked and then we finally got there.

"Welcome ladies" a girl told us "I'm Marine from the student council and I will give you a campus tour in a few minutes, please wait over there with the other freshmen"

She was a sweet girl.

I was sitting on a bench waiting for the tour to begin when I saw someone getting out of a huge and luxurious Land Rover.

"Oh my god" told Riley who immediately turned around "is that Lucas Friar?"
