Twnty two: save the day

Maya's POV

Suddenly someone else opened the door.

It was Lucas.

The man who was kissing me turned around.

"Wait for your turn douchbag" he yelled to Lucas

Turn?

"I'm not waiting shit and you're putting your hands away from my girlfriend" he said

Lucas's POV

This was insane, I shouldn't have let Maya come with me.

The mans came closer and talked in a playful tone.

"The boyfriend? How cute!" He laughed

"Get away from her" I punched him.

"Maya! Run!" I yelled but then I realized she was handcuffed to the walls.

I knocked the boy down and as soon as I did someone had Maya.

She had been freed from the wall but her mouth was now covered and the person was coming right towards me.

It was the man from the club back in NY.

"I have the money" I said and the man's eyes shined

"That doesn't change the fact that you lied to me you dirty rat" he responded

"Please let her go" I begged

"On your knees" he laughed and I did as told.

"Please let her go" I said once again now on my knees

"No!" He yelled and started running away with Maya.

I got up and started chasing after them.

Once I reached them I punched the guy, but he punched back.

Then, I saw a gun in the floor so I grabbed it.

I was scared to hurt Maya because my aim wasn't good.

"Go ahead, shoot!" He laughed

I breathed heavily and shot.

"Aaaaagh!" Maya cried and I covered my face with my hands.

Then I felt someone hugging me.

Blonde, short and beautiful.

"Maya!" I smiled widely

"Lucas oh my god" I kissed her and she kissed back.

Maya's POV.

The man's body was laying on the cold and dark ground.

"We need to get out of here" I said terrified that he would wake up

"Let's go" he smiled and grabbed my hand.

I was so happy but so scared that the mafia would come for us.

Lucas got closer to someone and talked to him.

"This is $100,000" her told the big guy and handed him the

"I want you to take Lucas Friar and Maya Hart out from the mafia's black list, tell them we are dead" he then said

"Deal" the man walked away

"We're free?" I asked

"We are" he smiled

"Wait, where did you get the money?" I asked

"My father's bank account, don't worry, it will be okay, it's worth it because you are safe" I blushed

"I loved you" he muttered back with his lips on my neck.
