Lucas Friar was my ex boyfriend, we were madly in love from 8th grade to 10th grade.
Lucas moved to Seattle so we broke up.
Every single girl in the freshmen tour was gagging about him.
He looked so... Different.
Black shades, black pants, black tight shirt and a silver chain in his neck.
"Say hi" Riley told me
"What? I haven't seen this guy in forever!" I said
"Lucas hi!" Riley yelled and Lucas turned around.
He came closer to us.
"But if it isn't Riley Matthews and Maya Hart" he laughed
"I.. It's been so long" I tried to be nice
"Yeah" he said and lit up a cigarette
I looked at Riley, she looked at me
"Now if you'll excuse me, my girl needs attention" he flashed a smile and a blonde girl with red lips and a red tight short dress got out of the car.
Lucas immediately walked to her and they started making out.
"Oh"
"My"
"God"
We both said.
"Who is she what did he do to Lucas?" Riley asked
"I don't know, but I don't like her"
General POV
Maya was never a good girl, she was never like Riley.
Riley was a loyal, nice to everyone, straight A's, lovely, generous soul, while Maya... Well Maya was problematic, broken, not nice to most people, straight C's D's and F's, not easy to love, explosive soul.
Lucas used to be just like Riley when Maya fell in love with him, but now, they were two dark souls... And the question is, will ever be able to find that light again?
