Nineteen: Airport Problems

Lucas's POV.

We arrived to Seattle's international airport and I was really nervous.

Maya was going to see my family again and to be honest, they never really liked her.

My father said she was too cocky playing hard to get, my mother said she was too slutty and my brother said she was hot as hell but too rude.

Of course Maya didn't know about this but my family wasn't happy about us being back together.

"That's my last name, its our driver" I took Maya's hand and we headed towards him.

"Mr. Friar? Lucas Friar?" He asked and I immediately recognized him.

"Bob! So long no see!" I smiled, Bob was our first driver when we moved to Seattle.

My family was kind of rich and I'd really rather keep that from Maya because she will probably feel used.

Because of this, I asked my parents to send our driver with a taxi instead of my Porsche.

"So where is the taxi?" I asked him and he started laughing.

"What is so funny?" I asked again

"You've always had a sense of humor Sir, let's go, the Porsche is a block away" he started walking and I did too but Maya didn't move.

This was a part of my parents plan and I knew that.

"Maya...." I started, knowing what was coming next

A tear rushed down her face.

"I come all the way here, give you my only money for you to fix your issues with a drug dealer because you wanted to play bad guy for a night... I leave Riley, I get stabbed, I ask my friends for money for you and make myself completely poor and broken and you own a Porsche? Also the Land Rover ? The one you arrived in the first day? It was yours too wasn't it?" She made a pause "why don't you sell one of your fucking cars to pay that? What the fuck? you only got with me so you could get money! And break me once again!" She was a mess of tears and mascara by now "Lucas I had sex with you!" She finished

"Well.. It's not like sex is a big deal to you..." I regretted those words as soon as the came out of my mouth

"Know what? Go fuck yourself in your Porsche" she started walking back to the airport

"Maya wait" I held her arm

"What? Give me one good reason to ask me for the only money I had and I will stay, but if there isn't one I swear I won't talk to you ever again and I will go date Sam who seems to care a bigger crap about me than you" she was shaking and I honestly didn't know what to do or say

"I..." I started but then stopped

"That's what I thought" she freed her arm from my hand and walked away.

I was staring at her when I noticed someone grabbing her, it was the man from the mafia.

Maya started yelling and I tried to chase after her but they got her into a white van.

Bob reached me with the car and I gave him some cash for a cab and took over it.

I was going to get her back even if I died in the process.

I re-wrote this chapter not to let you guys down, I'm afraid it's not as good as the original version bc rush but I hope it's at least some fun.
