Eighteen: Planes

Maya's POV.

Lucas held my hand and we walked into the plane control.

We said goodbye to Riley and Farkle and they wished us good luck.

Riley didn't want me to go, she said it was dangerous and she was scared for me but Farkle talked her into it.

She gave me a big hug and then we left.

"are you ready?" I asked Lucas

"I think so" he smiled and we kissed

"Lucas?" I said once we were already in our seats

"What?"

"I have a confession" I made a pause "I've never been in a plane before and I'm scared"

He looked at me like I was a child

"Don't worry, it will be alright, hold my hand"

I held his hand and rested my head in his shoulder.

"Hello everyone this is the captain talking..."

The captains explained the emergency rules and then said we were ready to take off.

"Lucas" I said in a scared tone.

"Don't worry babe, it will be alright" he pressed my hand against his

He noticed I was thinking out loud and smiled.

"What?" He asked smiling

"I.. I just hadn't heard that word since..." I was interrupted

"Since us" he finished and I nodded " I love it when you're that cute, it's like I'd like to kiss the fuck outta you"

I blushed.

We leaned in when the plane started moving.

"Lucas oh my god!" I yelled and everyone turned around and stared at me.

Lucas chuckled.

"Easy babe, it will be over before you know it" he kissed my forehead

"I want to be like them when I grow up" a girl muttered and we both overheard.

We giggled at each other.

The plane took off and I couldn't believe it.

"Lucas! We're flying!" I said amazed

"Come here I love you" he said and kissed me.
