Maya's POV

Why was I so emotional?

It's not like I care.

Well, did I?

I kept on running and I found myself in campus, it was Saturday so only the people who lived there were around.

I kept on running, I was kind of wasted, my side hurt like crap and I was seeing blurry.

Suddenly I bumped into someone.

"Maya?" Sam asked

"Sam.. Oh.. I" I cleaned my tears

"What's wrong?" he grabbed me and I pulled away in pain

"I.. I need to get out of here, I shouldn't have come to college, I could've gotten a job as a waitress..." I was sobbing and on my knees

"What? Maya are you on drugs?" He asked

"I can't do this" I sobbed

"What?" He asked again

"WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH ME?" I kicked the floor "I DONT HAVE FEELINGS FUCK WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?"

"I.. Ehh.." I could tell he wanted to leave

"JUST LEAVE, COULD YOU? DONT STAY HERE PRETENDING THAT YOU CARE"

"Leave" someone said and I saw Sam leaving.

"WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING HERE?" I asked Lucas

"I.. Maya... Look at you... You.. I..."

"CAN YOU SPEAK ENGLISH PLEASE?" I told him

"I care" he finally managed to say

"AGAIN WITH THAT BULLSHIT?!" I screamed

"It's not.. Let me explain"

"You have one minute"

"I... I don't even know Maya.. I left and then five days later Missy sent me pictures of you with some guy, I was hurt" he finished

"What?" I cleaned my tears

"I.. Who was he Maya ?"

"I don't even know! I didn't date anyone!" I yelled

"I guess I was just so hurt that I decided not to talk to you anymore"

"I'm sorry that bitch did that" I told him and cleaned my tears

"You.. I... Maya I never stopped loving you"

My eyes opened widely.

"I.. Lucas.. That's sweet but I... I don't love anyone"

"What? Maya that's not true" he stated

"Why are you so sure? My life has been a total failure, everyone I loved left me" I was feeling destroyed

"You still have your mother..." He said

"Lucas she died" I told him in the coldest tone, I wasn't crying anymore, not since Sam left.

"She what? Maya I'm sorry I didn't.." He apologized

"It's alright, I've gotten used to it"

"You shouldn't have...." He shook his head

"What?"

"Lived all those horrible moments... You are so much more than that, you're such an amazing person Maya you're..." I interrupted

"I'm not, stop Lucas please, maybe that's why you love me... You think I'm This amazing person, you think I'm this kind of perfection or this strong person... I'm not all of that Lucas" I stood up and started walking away.

"Maya wait" he grabbed my arm, turned me around and kissed me passionately.

I kissed back.
