After everyone had come inside and settled down, Greg and Maura had ordered Nando's for everyone. Niall was the most enthusiastic about that, of course, but even I didn't mind. I also never had Nando's before, so I hadn't expected the food to be as good as it was, but it was pretty darn delicious.

A friendly conversation had started as everyone ate, but most of the conversation tended to go back to Niall, his experiences, and what he did and didn't remember. I tried to contribute as much as I could when I could tell he wasn't comfortable, or having a hard time remembering something, but I was also glad to hear most of what he was saying was more he was remembering. He didn't mention anything about remembering he was turned into a Neko, but I was still careful to keep wraps over that until he remembered it himself.

After everyone had eaten and the kitchen was cleaned up, everyone migrated to the living room to continue their endless conversation topic. At this point, it was mostly asking Niall about what he remembered and questioning what he didn't. I sat next to him on the loveseat couch, mostly answering the questions Niall couldn't.

"Are you sure you weren't molested?" Maura asked Niall carefully.

This part of the conversation was making me pretty uncomfortable, but I couldn't tell if Niall was faltering because of the questions or because he couldn't remember if anything of the sort happened to him.

"I don't know." Niall rubbed his temple with his two fingers. "I don't remember, but I really don't think so." Niall answered for the third time.

"Dr. Frederick mentioned he wasn't showing signs of being sexually abused." I intercepted, hoping to take at least a little pressure back off of Niall. "He believes it's a higher chance he wasn't."

"You've mentioned this Dr. Frederick a couple of times now," Greg pointed his hand toward me, "but I'm afraid I'm confused. Could you tell us who he is? And what does he have to do with Niall?"

I sat up straighter. "Oh, yes, of course." I nodded. "Dr. Frederick is our family doctor, especially for me. He's, kind of, become our family friend by being such. I took Niall to him after I found him." I explained simply.

"Now that's what I've been curious about." Louis intercepted before anyone could say anything else. "How did you find Niall in the first place? How did he end up with you?" he put his palms together and pointed them at me, almost suspiciously.

Before I could answer, Niall cut me off.

"Well gosh Louis, there are nicer ways to ask us how we got together." he sassed, causing everyone to chuckle, including me.

I huffed. "Yeah," I added, "because that answer is simple. We didn't." I playfully dropped my smile into a glare, causing everyone to start laughing. I didn't expect that to actually be funny, but apparently it was. I smiled and found myself chuckling at that thought.

As the laughter died down, Niall was the first to speak.

"Yeah," he breathed with a gentle smirk, "unfortunately." he rested his head on his fist.

"Yeah," I repeated, pushing my hair away from my face, "unfortunately." I pulled my legs close to me as Niall and I glanced briefly at each other before looking away. I felt my face heat up a bit. I didn't dare look back at Niall.

"Anyway," I continued, hoping it wouldn't raise any suspicion, "to answer your question, for real this time, I actually found Niall at a park."

Everyone was looking at me curiously now.
