Zoya felt anxiety seeing Aditya lying unconscious with fever. When she handed the blanket and pillow to him last night she had expected Aditya to have slept adjusting to endure the rest of the night but what she saw made her crestfallen. Zoya instantly felt guilty about how she was planning to show Aditya where he belonged in real, outside her house and outside her life.

The fact that she wanted him to admit that he accepts, what she had to go through was because of his irrational behaviour.

It didn't take a minute for Zoya to compose herself and run towards her bedroom upstairs to grab her phone and call their family Doctor. Few rings went by Zoya and disconnected the call irritated and tried three more times.

"No, I can't let his condition worsen. Ugh! It doesn't matter what our relationship is right now, I have to bring home Mrs. Singh and get Aditya checked.."

Zoya muttered to herself impatiently while rotating her mobile around in fear. She hadn't expected Aditya to have a fever running when she left him in the middle of their heated conversation last night but he is still the adamant guy she knows and she needs to let go of her insecurities for the sake of Aditya's well being.

Zoya rushed to get her handbag and wearing a pair of heels she ran downstairs while dialing a number on her way.

"Hello auntie! Yes, I need a big favour. I need your help. Thanks, could you please come right now? I need to get my doctor because I've a frie.. uh.. someone I know with me and he's running a high fever. Noor is not home and until I return can you stay with him? Thanks! Oh, that would be great.."

Zoya strolled across the living room after covering Aditya with the blanket and placed his head softly on the pillow which was placed on the coffee table. She was glad knowing that her neighbour would be arriving with her husband so that he can move Aditya to a room and both of them can stay till she returns. As soon as Helen and Tarun Shrivastav showed up at her house, Zoya opened the gate and welcomed them with a weak smile.

"Thank you auntie and uncle, if not for you I.."

Helen and her husband have been close to the girls since they were kids and Zoya knew that they are trustworthy people to ask for help when in need.

"Zoya, don't panic alright? Go and bring your family doctor soon and until then we'll take care of your friend. Just go!"

Helen interrupted Zoya and placed an assuring hand on her shoulder to which she took a helpless last glance at Aditya and rushed to get inside her vehicle.

After the doctor checked Aditya's condition Zoya felt relieved for the first time of the day as her mind had been clogged with pressure since she got to know that Aditya had turned sick.

"Zoya, it was good that you came to my clinic on time. I had left my phone at home and my landline was removed months back and nobody contacts me through it now. If you didn't come to inform me about your friend, I can't predict what would have happened.."

Mrs. Singh addressed Zoya as they walked outside her parents room after the doctor did a check-up on Aditya's deteriorating health. She handed a prescription for the medicines needed for Aditya and walked out while Zoya followed her.

"Wh.. what do you mean doctor? What's wrong with Ad.. Aditya?"

Zoya felt confused as she scrunched her brows. It didn't matter to her that the doctor addressed Aditya as 'her friend' but it was rather important knowing about his health.

"Um.. Zoya, it could've been hard to save him if you didn't contact me soon.."

Zoya felt her heart stop hearing what the doctor was saying. She turned nervous while her heart was thumping hard against her body.
