When she woke up it felt as if she was burdened with a heavy load on her shoulders and her body felt uncomfortable. The moment screamed as if she was supposed to choose between today or never, right or wrong and Zoya didn't know why her heart felt so uneasy, lethal. That's why she moved her hands across her face, took a deep sigh and placing her feet on the ground she put on her night shoes and covered herself with the White housecoat, lying on top of a chair and walked towards the window.

Zoya didn't know what time it is neither was she in the mood to do so since her mind was already stressed and she knew that today she was alone at home with Noor having gone on a trip with her friends.

At first Zoya wasn't in favour of the idea of letting go of her younger sister for a holiday but then again she knew that Noor is sensible enough to manage herself. She is a better judge of character, people and is probably strong-headed than she is in real. As the curtains were opened wide, Zoya was welcomed to the warmth that was bright sunshine, conjuring the most brilliant of the mosaic colours reflecting from each leaf.

Her eyes rested upon the golden rays, knowing that her life has come through darkness and she took a deep breath, basking in the glory. Zoya slowly pushed open the windows and fresh windy cool and crispy air started whistling like an invisible ghost. She realized that its going to be a rainy day but was it an alarm, making an announcement of an upcoming storm?

Zoya brushed away her negative thoughts and turned around when her eyes fell on the bedside clock which made her aware that it is almost twelve in the afternoon. Perhaps that's why Noor has not yet given me a call. She might have reached her holidaying spot and it won't be nice of me to disturb her. I'll remind myself to call her later and why should I feel scared? Her best friend Naina is there and Vishal is also accompanying her.

Zoya thought to herself and walked out of her room, grabbing hold of her iPhone. Her sister had a life of her own which must not be controlled by her. Noor loved her private time as much as she enjoyed hers. It has always been like that for her. While she walked downstairs, Zoya's phone did a loud 'beep' sound to which she jolted on spot. As her eyes fell upon her phone's screen, Zoya's lips formed in to a thin smile seeing the message she has received.

'Hope you are up! Lots of love
- xoxo -'

She was expecting the message and it didn't take her time to make a call right away, taking a seat on the staircase with a smile, wrapping her overcoat tightly around her waist. Her call was answered pretty soon.

"Hi babe, good morning and good afternoon together? Noor warned me to keep an eye on you! She didn't have to tell that specifically but yeah, I care about you and you know that right?"

"Yes, I do and for your information, I got out of bed just now but I'm feeling so lazy! To top it all, I'm alone at home and I miss you and wish you were here. Where are you today?"

"Hm.. You know how work is right? Travelling everywhere and it's like I'm living inside a jigsaw puzzle. Last night I was near this valley and today I'm supposed to climb a mountain Zo! Super messed up but I love my job because this is my passion! Yes, you are all by yourself and it's a shame that I'm not with you. But work is work babe and I'm sorry! Remember that I love you anyway.."

"I love you too and I know that work comes first because it's the same for me. I'll be waiting till you get done with that silly project of yours!"

"Silly it is but Zo, seriously. There are many things that I want to tell you and next week, I'm coming home. Make sure you remember to prepare my favourite dishes!"

"Love, I'll be happily making amazing food to feed you. Listen, I gotta go now and make myself some tea. At least it would make me keep my eyes open. Make sure you remember to call me later, OK?"
