"Cass!? Why are you here?"

"Hello, Jungkook. It's funny to meet you here as well." She stopped staring down the man in front of her and looked over at her friend. "I'm here to see my dad." Cassia motioned to Mr. Jeon.

"Your dad?" Jungkook questioned in an unbelievable tone. But  he didn't have to wait for an answer. The answer was written all over their dad's face.

They simultaneously looked back at the man before them. He was still looking at Cassia, guilt showing all over his face. Mr. Jeon looked at Jungkook.

"You know Cassia?" Mr. Jeon asked Jungkook. Jungkook nodded, but followed with a question.

"But how do you know each other?" He motioned between his dad and Cassia. Neither of them knew it, but the rest of the guys were in the lobby and heard the conflict. They all stood against the door despite the secretary's protests.

Mr. Jeon spoke as Cassia still stared at him.

"Jungkook," he said simply. "This is my daughter from my first marriage in America."

"Your first ma-marriage?" Jungkook couldn't believe his ears. Cassia couldn't handle it anymore. She couldn't stand there face to face with this man and not ask the questions she had always wanted to ask him. She interrupted their exchange abruptly.

"Do you know what you left me in when you left - when you just couldn't handle it anymore?" She demanded walking forward a couple of steps. "Do you!? A six year old with a mom that couldn't even stand up straight because she was always so drunk!? A mom that couldn't feed her six year old, wash her daughter's school clothes, or take her to school!? Do you know I had to learn the public transportation system by the time I turned 8, because grandmother gave up on us!?" Mr. Jeon looked down at his hands. Jungkook looked at Cassia, shock glossed over his eyes, but Cassia continued.

"Do you know how I was bullied at school because I had no money, no clean uniform? Do you know I had to get a job when I was 14 because she was never sober enough to have one!? We had no food, we had no money to pay the bills: the electricity, the rent, any of it." Cassia was close to tears.

"Cassia, please calm down. Let's talk about this." Mr. Jeon said calmly.

"Dad?" Jungkook asked. "Did you really do this to Cass?" Cassia however only heard her dad tell her to calm down and she lost all control. Every amount of hurt, everything that happened to her, every disappointment surfaced.

"Do you know that one of mom's 'boyfriend's' raped me!?" she yelled, tears streaming down her face. "She never heard me yell for help, she never heard my cries or my screams because she was passed out in her room." Two seconds after it left her mouth the door to the office swung open. Cassia turned to see Hoseok standing in the doorway, surprise and hurt for her in his eyes. She felt her heart sink. She never wanted him to find out, but now he knew - he knew all of it.

"Cass?" Hoseok said to her, starting to walk toward her. She wiped her tears and turned to look at him. Her heart betrayed her, however, and she broke down again as he reached her. She couldn't look him in the face. She couldn't handle anymore disappointment from the people she cared about, and she certainly didn't want pity. She tried to protect herself, but it didn't work - not with him. She grabbed her bag and dodged Hoseok's outstretched hand, running out of the office. Hoseok looked at Jungkook and then looked at Mr. Jeon.

"How could you possibly --?" He didn't even finish his sentence, but turned and ran out after Cassia.

Cassia ran to the closest stairwell and closed the door behind her. She heard Hoseok calling for her and she hoped he wouldn't find her. His voice kept getting closer, however, and she took off down the stairs. She had gotten down only one flight of stairs when she heard the stairwell door open and Hoseok call her name again. She looked backwards to see how close he had gotten and missed the bottom step, falling face forward onto the concrete floor.
