Chapter 27
The interior was dark but to our wolf eyes that didn't matter in mere seconds my eyes had adjusted to the gloom and I was able to see as well in here as I had outside. The empty factory contained just rubble and the splinters of glass that had been left from the broken windows. Across the gloom stood Bethany beaming at me in a smug sort of way as lining the walls between us were rogues all with their eyes locked on me with a hungry sort of expression Derek growled alongside me as he gripped my hand tightly. I sighed as I swept my eyes across the rogues, maybe twenty, twenty five of them? I flipped my hair back and raised my head just a little determined to look defiant I wouldn't let them see me scared I would never do that.
"Stop there that's close enough." Bethany's loud voice rang out echoing across the empty space. "Any closer and the scent of self righteousness will never get out of my nose." Several of the rogues around her chuckled and I snorted, that wasn't even funny.
"I love you." I whispered under my breath my eyes locked on Derek. He squeezed my fingers a little.
"I won't let her hurt you," Derek whispered,
"I know." I said gently
"come on Jessica put your boy down I gave the two of you nearly forty eight hours out of the goodness of my heart or do you to fuck him again I can wait two minutes if you want sister knowing Derek that should be more than enough time."
"Oh that's Bollocks." Bryce groaned next to Derek, as the assembled males all chuckled. Bethany raised her eyebrows as though enchanted by what was happening.
"Bryce." I snarled,
"Well it is." He said defensively "I was in the next room and fuck you guys would not shut up. You kept us awake for fucking hours." Bethany smiled it made me think of the opening of a razor. "And anyway I don't have time for this fucking bullshit. I don't want to fucking banter word with you. You wanted me to bring Jessie; she's here so I want my fucking sister back." Bethany continued to smile, I growled under my breath. Her smile was different from mine and I didn't like it seeing a different smile on my face.
"Okay direct I can do that down to business. Right Jessica you should be over here."
"No deal." Bryce said calmly "were are the hostages?" Bethany nodded at Christian who was stood just a little off to her left he smiled at her his eyes as always alight with his devotion for a few seconds before he turned and disappeared behind the assembled rogues. A few moments later there were muted sounds of a struggle. Then suddenly Emily reappeared being shoved roughly by a burly rogue. He hands were bound behind her back and a thick piece of tape was stuck across her mouth, her eyes were wide she was clearly terrified. Next to her another girl appeared she was very petite and slender with beautiful caramel coloured skin and shoulder length honey blond hair, she had her hands equally bound and a gag on her mouth. She however was also highly battered and bruised as she was being half dragged half carried across the floor by two further rogues.
"What the fuck?" Bryce snarled,
"She didn't want to come out here. She'll be fine in a minute." One of the rogues holding the girl up growled. I heard a savage growl and swept my eyes across to Daniel who was snarling and fighting savagely against Both Carl and Bryce who were holding him in place.
"Oh brother." Beth sighed shaking her head, "so corruptible by just a piece of ass. Right so you can see your girls are fine. So hand over my beloved twin." Derek gripped my fingers tightly I stood up on my tiptoes and gently pressed my lips to his.
"Trust me." I whispered beneath my breath, I saw Derek bite his lip as he closed his eyes and gently he untangled his fingers from mine. I took a deep breath and forced myself to move towards the centre of the factory floor.
