Chapter 34

3 months later

I slid the plate closer to me and gave Dean a smile as I snagged the top brownie, I groaned loudly as I took a large bite from it.

"Nice?" I just groaned in response

"You will make someone a wonderful little wife one day." I purred

"You know what you can do to pay me back for this constant stream of Brownies?" he said his eyes twinkling? I stroked my round Belly,

"Really your still trying that."

"Your still breathing so I'm of course still going to be trying"

"I'm going to be a mom."

"I know I like the belly." He purred leaning over to rub it gently as I snagged another brownie. Dean honestly wasn't much of a cook but his Brownies were good and for some reason baby really liked them.

"You know I sometimes wonder what would happen if I told you lets go have sex"

"If you want to find out I can help with that." He smiled that devastating smile that actually had the power to make me more than a little temped to take him up on that offer. I winced as my belly gave a little twinge Dean frowned for a second though his hand still kept stroking my belly although not in a completely innocent way.

"Are you alright honey?"

"Yeah I think I just need to go have a lie down." I mumbled "babies being a pain." I gave my belly a prod. I had moved out of the main house and was now living in Derek's room. I actually loved this house right now it was me Dean, Carl and Ashton, I don't think I could honestly stay here after the baby arrived but right now I loved being here.

"Do you want me to get Kate?"

"No I'm fine. "I said simply,

"What about Ash or something?" he said hastily clearly feeling bad about leaving me alone and so desperate to find me to someone else anyone else.

"He's got class." I said exasperatedly. This was true Ashton had already mastered control of his shift, well inhibiting them anyway to the point that he had been allowed to continue back at university. He had changed to the university nearby though so he could stay with the pack. He as far as I could tell had not been in contact with his family once since his shift and showed no sadness at this or inclination to change it although I found their lack of interest heartbreaking. The rest of the pack had already accepted him without question when I arrived home. Vivian especially seemed to like him probably due to his non threatening manner. And Kate also seemed particularly taken with him as she informed me,

"Lovely guy and he's very devoted to you even before his shift. I mean he already sleeps in the room next to yours." She said this innocently I'm sure but I wasn't sure how I felt about that as not long ago that had been Jamie and look at what I had done to the last guy who was devoted to me. Devotion to me didn't tend to go well. I sighed grabbing a brownie as I began pushing myself up off up the kitchen stool I hated the way my slender form had ballooned out recently, manovering around for me suddenly had all the grace of an obese hippo. "I just-" I cut off abruptly as I felt my legs become soaked. "Oh god." I said looking down at the puddle on the floor. Dean's eyes followed my gaze and I saw his eyes widen and his skin turned pale as he saw the liquid around my toes and jumped back to keep his feet out of the fluid.

"What the fuck is that?" he squealed.

"My water just broke. I...I mean I think it did. I ...I think the babies um...um." I dropped off I couldn't finish that sentence it was suddenly so terrifying.
