Maybe she'll know what to do.

Y/n's POV
I sat on my bed, waiting for the moment for Craig to come back.

I didn't want to lose hope, I know that he can do it. I believe in him.

Time passes and I get more and more anxious.

Would he abandon me? I mean this is his final chance to escape so why doesn't he just do that instead of saving me?

My mind is flooded with thoughts I didn't want to have, thoughts about Craig leaving me to marry a man I hated, living his life with another woman that isn't me.

My doorknobs that are attached to my bedroom door start to jiggle, someone is coming.

I freeze in my place, too scared to move. I don't want it to be Kyle please don't let it be Kyle, please.

My doorknobs soon stop moving all together but it is replaced with some sort of scraping sound? I can't exactly pinpoint what sound it really is.

I hear a click and everything went quiet, the only thing I could hear my rapid heartbeat.

My doorknob moves, opening the door. My body begins to shake but soon stops once I see who it is.

It's Craig! He didn't abandon me after all!

My eyes start to fill with tears of happiness, I managed to move my body up to Craig, embracing him in a massive bear hug.

I felt his hand pat the top of my head then he move his hand down my head, stroking my hair.

I couldn't help myself from crying, I cry in front of Craig all the time, he probably thinks I'm weak.

But that didn't matter, right now I'm with Craig and that is all that matters for the time being.

Once I managed to settle down, Craig started to speak.

"I couldn't find the stick." Craig's emotionless face didn't really change which is pretty normal of him.

"Are you sure you checked everywhere?" I asked, feeling worried once again.

"No, I don't know this castle as well as you do." Craig looked me straight in the eyes.

"What are you-"

"You're going to have to find it instead of me." Craig interrupted me which caught me off guard.

"They won't think twice on why you're roaming around the castle."

That was true, I never really thought of that. If they found Craig then he would be thrown back into the dungeon unlike me.

If I were to go out and find the stick myself, no one would really question it, besides maybe Kyle.

"How? I can't even escape my room, let alone explore the castle." I said, looking up a Craig who was still embracing me.

Craig and I stayed silent for awhile expect Craig was probably thinking about all the possibilities.

Before we could do anything else, the door behind Craig starts to make some sound, like someone trying to unlock the door with a key.

I felt myself start to panic, I have to hide Craig or he'll be caught.

"Hide in my closet," I whispered to Craig, leading him away from my door and by my closet.

Craig didn't object, he hopped into my closet, closing the door behind him.

My door opened with a confused Kyle walking into my room.

"Did I leave your door unlocked?" Kyle asked me still confused.

"I don't know, I haven't left my room," I said, trying to convince Kyle that I'm innocent.

"Good, let us keep it that way." A small smirk spreads across Kyle's face.

"You know, I'm quite upset that a certain race had to ruin our perfect wedding day, ever since I laid my eyes on you, I knew that you were the one I wanted to marry and so I took it upon myself to make you mine." Kyle's smirk turned more and more twisted and psychotic.

Kyle slowly walked closer to me, each step he took caused me to become more and more anxious about what he might have planned.

"Why must you look so scared? You looked so beautiful when you are happy, come on, smile for me."

My heart started to beat faster and faster, my fear manifested into terrified, I was scared for my life and what I was about to experience.

Kyle was about two steps away from me, tears started to roll down my face, I didn't want anything to happen to me.

Kyle placed his foot one step closer to me, as soon as he did he was tackled to the ground.

Craig's POV

I was forced to watch as Kyle made his way over to Y/n's terrified figure.

I couldn't take it anymore, I had to do something to stop this, I had to save her. I can't let anything happen to Y/n.

I could sense my anger manifesting, I needed to stop this before anything bad happens to her.

Without thinking, I pushed the closet doors open with all my force, speeding over to Kyle and tackling him down to the ground.

"Leave her alone!" I screamed in Kyle's face.

His face twisted into a fearful expression but it soon changed into an evil grin when he realized who it was that tackled him.

"Oh? What's this? A human in the room of the Elven princess? What would happen to you if I called the guards right now." Kyle said, still grinning evilly, probably thinking about some sort of plan to get me captured.

"Shut it you creep." I spat in Kyle's face which he did not like.

His evil grin started to turn into an angry and annoyed expression.

"You really think you guys can be together, huh? Get it through your thick skull, an Elf and a Human could never be together, it's a disgrace."

Anger festered through my bones, I lifted my arm up in the arm and punched Kyle square in the face with no hesitation.

Kyle faced me after I punched him, blood started to trickle from his nose, now he was really angry at me.

"First you come in here and ruin my perfect wedding day with the love of my life, and now you ruined my perfect face. You're going to pay for this."

Kyle looked me dead in the eyes, not breaking eye contact at all.

He opened his mouth the say something but was interrupted by Y/n.

"I can't take it anymore!" She screamed at the both of us.

She moved her hand quickly right next to Kyle's mouth, plants sprouted from the ground, thick vines to be exact, and covered Kyle's mouth so he would scream.

He tried to open his mouth but he couldn't open it, his voice was muffled out by the vines so he couldn't scream.

More vines sprouted from the ground and pinned both his arms and his legs to the ground in a star shape so he couldn't escape.

His waisted was also pinned down as well as an extra security so he couldn't escape.

"Search him for the key, we need to get out of here before anything happens." Y/n said in a panic.

I did as she said, I searched all of his pockets and everywhere to find the key to Y/n's room, which I ended up finding with ease.

"Found it!" I exclaimed, holding the key up to my face as I removed it from Kyle's pocket.

"Hurry and use it!"

I got up from the ground and rushed over to Y/n's door, placing the key in the keyhole then twisting it, unlocking the door.

The door opened up, I grabbed Y/n's hand, holding it tightly, and ran out the door with Y/n behind me.
