The Grand Wizard will be very please with the gift I'll be able to give him.

Y/n's POV
We started walking through the forest after the guards went away.

The events of what happened in the forest played in my head. It was just so sudden and just out of the blue.

I didn't want to speak about it and make everything awkward and weird.

The sun was setting and I, personally, was getting really tired of walking to wherever we were heading to.

"We setting up camp here for the night." My partner in crime spoke, I sighed in relief.

"Thank god, I'm so tired." I spoke, my legs hurt from all of this walking. I haven't walk this much ever in my life.

I immediately collapsed on the earthy ground, cutting myself with the sharp blades of grass in the progress.

"I'll set up the camp, you just sit there." He demanded, I was all up for that choice but I do feel kind of bad that he has to do all of the work but I'm too tired to even do anything.

The sun finally found its resting place, covering the region in total darkness, my partner in crime finished setting up a tent for us to sleep in as well as getting a fire started.

We sat in silence for a period of time, I was too busy admiring the night sky to notice that He spoke up and said something.

"Princess." His voice brought me out of my thoughts.

"Yes?" I asked.

"Whats your name?" He asked.

He's suddenly interested in my name? I thought he didn't care. I shrugged off that thought and responded to his question.

"Y/n."

He nodded his head to signal that he heard me. Once again, we sat in silence and doing absolutely nothing.

"Craig." He finally spoke.

"What?" I asked in confusion, I didn't quite understand what he meant by that.

"My name's Craig." He said no more.

'Craig... What a nice name. It has a nice ring to it'. I thought to myself.

I immediately shook that thought away from my head. What am I even thinking?

"So... Um... What was that back there in the forest?" I asked, my curiosity got the better of me, causing me to ask the question.

"What do you mean?"

"You know... When we were hiding."

"I was just trying to make you quiet down, it was nothing special if that's what you mean."

This for some reason hurt me, why did it? I have no clue why.

He didn't have to do it, It wasn't like I was crying loudly. I mean then again I was so scared that I could of easily starting freaking out and give us away so on one hand I'm grateful he did it.

"Well uh, thank you I guess." I didn't want to show my hurt in my eyes, I still don't understand why I feel this way it's so not like me.

Craig's POV
"Well uh, thank you I guess." Y/n spoke, her voice showing some sort of emotion that wasn't glee.

I looked at her, her facial expression showed sadness, which I didn't understand why she felt that way.

"Why are you sad?" I asked.

"What, I'm not sad. What do you mean?" She put on a fake smile to fool me but I could clearly see through her false image.

"Something is up."

She sighed, dropping her act.

"It's nothing, just don't worry about it." She started poking at the fire with a stick, catching the tip of it on fire causing her to throw the whole stick in the fire.

"Whatever." I didn't want to push it forward, I'll just get nowhere.

"How did you make those plants grow in the hotel?" This question left my mouth, I was genuinely curious how she managed to do that.

"Well... I don't just have the power of healing, I can also make plants grow just like that."

This was perfect, the king would for sure be proud of me for bringing her to him.

What he would do to her I have no idea but honestly I could care less.

"You should sleep." I said.

Y/n just shook her head, "I'm not tired yet."

I let out a small laugh, "I thought you were tired."

Y/n playfully punch my arm, "Tired of walking."

"We have a long day tomorrow."

Y/n shook her head again.

"That's it." I got up from my spot and picked up Y/n, resting her over my shoulder.

"Hey! Put me down!" Y/n shouted then laughed while playfully hitting my back.

"You're going to bed right now."

I started making my way towards our tent that I set up for the both of us to sleep in.

"I don't want to go to bed!" She shouted once again.

"Too bad." I put her down onto her sleeping bag then closing it.

"I'm going to bed and so are you."

Y/n gave me a pouty face while crossing her arms.

"Fine." She finally gave in.

"I'll wake you up early tomorrow morning so be prepared."

Right as we were drifting off to sleep, sounds of people talking could be heard in the distance.

"Not again." Y/n spoke in a quiet voice.

"I don't want to go back."

Quietly I opened the tent, peaking my head out the tent to see who is talking out in the distance.

It was Stan, Prince Kyle's most trusted warrior.

"We have to go." I quietly told Y/n.

"Leave everything here."

Y/n nodded to head to signal that she understood.

Slowly we made our way out of the tent and towards the opposite direction of the Elven warrior.

I had my head turned behind me to make sure Stan didn't see us leave.

I was so focused on him that I didn't see what was in front of me, I ended up bumping into something in front of me.

I fell to the floor with a thud.

"Going somewhere?" A voice asked.

I turned my attention up towards whoever said that.

It was Kyle.
