Joe and his new wife Shasta have been married for the last few Weeks, Joe's ex wife Brittany is sending their kids over this weekend to see their father, his daughter Anna and his son Jackson, Shasta and him aren't going to have any kids themselves but Shasta has been looking into adoption so before Anna and Jackson come over tomorrow evening Shasta and Joe are going to the orphanage in town and see if they can find a child in need of a family. Him and Shasta have been talking about the kids in the orphanage the main women send pictures and information on all them, as both Shasta and Joe keep going back to this little 2 year old girl name Debbie who is in the first stage of leukemia and both Shasta and Joe want to help her, she can still leave a long life if she starts to get her treatment but the home can't help with that so they have decided to help her by adopting her tomorrow morning.

That next morning Joe and Shasta are on their way to the orphanage to meet Debbie and see if she wants to come home with them, because both Joe and Shasta have the money to take care of her all the way around, Joe is an FBI agent and Shasta is a nurse. They meant when Joe come in to the ER one night after his shift, he got shot in the shoulder blade and Shasta was his nurse, he was newly divorced from Brittany and she was getting out of a bad relationship with her Ex Daniel who was very controlling and jealous, so she left him and moved here and got a job as a nurse at the ER. A couple weeks later Joe come in with his daughter Anna who was having back problems that turn out to be her gallbladder, and when she was in surgery Shasta and Joe started talking and decided to go out on a date one day and that was 2 years ago and now they are married and about to adopt a little girl who needs some help.

As they arrive at the orphanage and Shasta see Debbie by herself as joe goes and finds the main lady to decide the situation with them adopting Debbie as Shasta walks over and seats down next to Debbie and they start talking and Shasta learns Debbie is a very smart little girl who is 2 years old about to turn 3 in just a couple months and she may be dying but she isn't going out without a fight, as Shasta remember when she was that age and was diagnosed with a rare heart disease and she thought she was going to die too but medicine saved her and she and Joe are going to save Debbie, as Shasta let's Debbie know she is getting adopted today by her and her husband Joe he is talking to the main lady here as Debbie smiles and hugs Shasta as joe comes out and says "hi Debbie I'm Joe I'm Shasta husband would like to come home with us? As Debbie knows her head and goes to hug Joe as the main lady brings Debbie's stuff and hands her, her stuffed bear and says they will miss her but she is going to get better very soon, because of Joe and his wife Shasta, as Debbie grabs her stuff and all three of them walk out and towards Joe's car.

Shasta never told no one about her problem with her heart but she felt something with Debbie, she knows she needs to tell Joe that was one of the reasons that she got herself fix a few years ago because the doctor's said her heart couldn't handle the pressure of giving birth, so she will come clean to him and both Anna and Jackson very soon but right now her and Debbie have a little secret and she knows that will bring them closer as mother and daughter in the long run.

One more part in a few days, and I'm thinking about doing a sequel to this one too!!!!
