Deaf becomes a Daddy part two

Deaf Smith is on a run with the Texas rangers when he gets note from his wife Diamond letting him know she isn't doing well and he needs to return home as quick as possible, he doesn't understand she was fine when he left for this run about 3 days ago as he lets his Sgt know the situation and his Sgt let's him leave and head home to Diamond and their kids in River and Mason.

She isn't well she is pregnant with their new baby and the doctor said she will not make it through this pregnancy alive but river and Mason know their mom is tough and will be just fine during this pregnancy with their baby brother or sister, deaf doesn't know diamond is pregnant and what the doctor told her about the situation but he is going to be home by tomorrow afternoon and he will not leave her side through it All and when he finds out he prayers for diamond and their new baby a safe delivery, he knows his Sgt will understand and give him the time off.

Diamond is at the farm with River and Mason when Deaf comes in two days later from the road River runs to her daddy and  says daddy mommy isn't alright as Deaf picks her up in his arms as he walks over and kisses Diamond on the forehead as Mason is laying down next to Diamond as Deaf says "is it a good idea for the kids to be around you if your not feeling well as Diamond giggles "Deaf Smith I'm not dying I'm pregnant but the doctor said it will be a hard pregnancy and one of us will not make it through the birth" as he starts to cry he can't lose his wife or their baby so he is going to stay home and take care of her and their baby no matter what and make sure she and the baby lives. As he smiles at her and kisses her on the forehead before sending the kids out of the room to their room to play while he takes care of diamond he writes his Sgt a note letting him know the situation and he will be home with his family for a while, after he gets done he calls river in and asks her to take it to the mailbox as she runs out and to the mailbox with her Daddy's note as Mason comes in and crawls into Deaf lap and Deaf smiles at his son as diamond smiles at her husband and son. She isn't going to go no where with a fight she has a family that loves her and she loves them, this baby and her are going to make it through this pregnancy and live with their family for a long time.
