Emalee is happy in the new town her family moved to her dad Clyde is a high school coach and her mom Ashley is a nurse at the City hospital. But Emalee starts to acting a bit strange since she bought a antique wooden box and both Clyde and Ashley don't see no harm until Emalee starts to act out and become a handful and her parents learn the wooden box is possessed and Emalee has got possessed and the only way to break the curse is to destroy the box but Emalee doesn't like that idea so Clyde starts to remind her about her life before the possessing, she was a happy girl with some amazing friends.
Who have been worried about her, Clyde finds the wooden box and he is going to destroy it and get his little girl back one way or another, as Ashley put Emalee in the hospital and is watching over her while Clyde destroys the book, as Emalee is going to middle school next year and have some amazing times with her best friends. As Clyde destroys the box and Emalee starts to get better, her body starts to heal after a few days, and it's summer time and Emalee is really excited for this time, her and family normal goes to the lake for a few weeks, and where they are there her mom learns she is pregnant again with her baby brother that Ashley and Clyde decided to name him Samuel and all three are happy for this next part of their life's together as family, Emalee doesn't remember much about the past few months and the wooden box and both Ashley and Clyde are totally fine with that it's better this way she can go on and act like a normal kid with her friends and school and adding Samuel to their family is a big step, for them all.
