A/N:

Sorry I've been MIA. I didn't know when to post a new chapter. And I had to change a few things. I probably have to edit this one and some other chapters.

I've been balling my eyes out for this Netflix series 'All American'. This diverse, hood, drama, and heart to heart quotes. This show so great.

Meanwhile, Clem left the guys upstairs in her room. Entering the kitchen to see a cake container on the counter.

Nosy to see what Kate baked for the family, she unhooked the caps and lifted to top. Her eyes grew wide and belly wouldn't stop twisting and turning. The round cake had pink frosting and sprinkles. It was so cute and well decorated that it made the girl want to cut it up and grab a plate.

She snapped the top back on. Controlling her urges as she put the cake in the fridge.

Soon as she turned around Gabe came down the steps, making his way to her.

"The cake looks great! I can't wait to have a slice later on. Tell Kate I said, 'thank you'." She said with a smile. Gabe smiled back, rubbing the low beard on his chin.

"No problem, Amor."

Gabe stood there looking as if he has more to say. Or something to ask.

Clem moved around the kitchen. Looking for a drank or snack. Knowing that Louis is probably thirsty from eating pretzels for an hour.

She grabbed a small water bottle from the pantry. They had a mini fridge in there for refreshments only.

"Are you thirsty? Hungry? I can get you something?" She asked with the bottles in her arms. Gabe shook his head.

"Nah. I'm fine. Anyway... How you been?" He asked her as he took a seat.

"I've been chilling. Study for finals with Louis..." She trailed. She almost slipped up saying she have been studying at Louis's place majority this week. It was none of Gabe's business or concern.

"With Louis... If you need peace and quiet, you could had came over to my house." Gabe shrugged his shoulders as he leaned his elbows on the table.

"Pshhh. It's fine, Hairy Ass. So far so good. Maybe next semester, I'll keep that in mind." She said. Standing under the interior arche.

The Garcia changed the subject.

"Duck told me about the Florida trip." The brunette man brought up. She lifted her eyes, nodding her head eagerly.

"Yeah. A short get away from here. We need a trip together." She smiled. Gabe chuckled when he noticed the dimple on her cheek. He's glad to see her happy since she got back.

"Are you excited?" He smiled. Feeding off her enthusiasm.

"Yeah. I always thought about going on vacation with you guys. No parents. Just friends. So this is our chance to be together, have fun, and relax. Beside the camping trips we been through." She said with a bit of excitement but ended with cringe.

Clem always wanted a friends only vacation. When they were younger, Kenny would take the kids camping to experience the great out doors and they hated. Especially, Duck. He hates bugs. And Clem, the little devil, would always tease him and scare the living spirit out of him with different types of bugs.

The only good thing about it is that they learned about survival, fishing, and building tents.

Sometimes the boys and the girls shared a tent because they were all too scared of the monsters in the woods.
