March.

In the campus library, Violet, Ruby, and Brody were busy finishing paper work for homework and online assignments.

It was only three pm. The sun was setting and the study room was hush quiet. There were two full and an half Starbucks frozen coffee on the table. Still cold to the touch since the girls been working for an hour.

Violet wore a thick sweater unlike Ruby and Brody wearing cardigans. They each had on boots and jeans.

The weather outside was pretty decent. Had a rain shower earlier. Now the sun is coming out splitting the clouds in the sky.

Brody had stacked up with four brownies near her, nibbling them while typing on her crimson laptop. Ruby took a break from reviewing her anatomy book, texting her fiance about school and his internship work.

The ginger girls were so occupied with their doings that Violet's hand absently kept brushing the short locks on her nape.

The blonde recently had a hair cut and it became a huge change since she grew it out to her tailbone, looking extra feminine and pretty. With her long locks, she attracted so many guys, she had to remind them time from time that she's not interested.

In guys. Only girls.

After the whole explosion, permanent facial burns, eye surgery, and glasses, she decided to blend in more into the crowd. Assuming all this attention put her life in danger.

She don't remember pissing anyone off to ruin her performance and vision. It really effected her dance practices and studying. Plus the stage was under remodeling. So the dancers sharing another stage with the theater department.

The school is huge but it doesn't mean they like the tight space when two classes collide. It really annoyed Violet, that's why she stay in the dance room when it's free or her grandmother's ballet studio.

Perks for her for having a dance instructor in the family.

"Ugh." Violet removed her dark frames, setting them on the table. The tips of her fingers rubbed in circular motion on her temples.

Brody lifted her head, seeing aggravated expression on Violet's face.

"What's up?" Brody asked.

Violet stopped her hands and slammed them on her lap. Breaking Ruby away from her phone.

"You good, Vi?"

The slim blonde blew her bangs off her face before packing up her stuff in her backpack.

"C'mon, Vi. Not again." Brody whined.

"Sorry guys. I'm going to run early for the day. It's hard for me to stay here before it gets late." Violet said.

"Vi. I told you I could take you home. I don't mind. You always leave early." Brody reached for Violet's slim wrist. Stopping the girl from putting her stuff in her bag.

The worry look on Brody's face upset Violet. The poor vision girl dropped her head, sighing.

"Brody, it's fine. I rather be home with my mom and grandma."
