A group of burned out college students bursted out the doors. Feet dragging on the floor as bodies wobbled like zombies. Relieved after sitting through everyone's boring presentation in communication.

Last days always drags the longest.

The bright eye, brunette followed along her classmates out the door. Splitting from some through the halls to head down the steps.

Clementine haven't been herself for the past two days. She stuck her nose through notes after notes and books after books. Fingers cramping from jamming then on the laptop keys. Sleep was out of the picture until Lee tells her to rest, which she refuse to. By the time it hits three in the morning, she knocks out. Slept for four to five hours each night.

Regardless to her dedication to pass her midterms, work was a breeze. Her coworkers let her nap at the back for an hour before she can work at the front. Library staff were her saviors.

Wondering why she still working? She need some cash before break.

So excited that shes off today, she planned to hit the mall after class.

Studies frustrated her so much, she wanted a huge milkshake and a waffle bow of icecream with hella sprinkles at the mall. Then buy a couple of cute outfits to flaunt in.

Her attire became so random and sloppy this week. She looked like a college bum. She forgot to iron her jean flannel and white undershirt. Her frizzy hair was balled up into a side bun. Glasses slipping constantly at the edge of her small nose. Long Star War and Sally duck socks, that she stole from AJ and Duck, high over her leggings. She even worn comfy sweat shirt from Lee and Louis. The girl had no care in the world how she looked on campus.

It's not like there's anyone to impress since that someone never replied to her for the pass two days!

Beside her idiot boyfriend ignoring her text, calls, face times, and direct messages, she grew very worried about him. He's not the type to ghost her like that. Not like her.

Clenching the straps of her back pack as she stopped, her brows scrunched when she noticed Brody waving at her outside the sliding doors.

Clem made her way towards the auburn girl. Slightly forcing a smile to look less tired than already she is.

"Hey Bro."

"Hey." The tone of her voice dropped and was very dry. Clem known Brody for the preppy one in the group. Always a smile on her face.

"What's wrong with you?" Clem asked.

If a face could only sulk more, Brody pulled it off perfectly. She looked like she witnessed someone kicking a puppy.

The look on Brody's face made Clem feel like it had something to do with Marlon. Whether it's a small arguement or a misunderstanding, they rub off energy that gets everyone depressingly sad.

Her slim arms linked around Clem's arm. Hugging her as she dragged her to the campus cafeteria.

"Let's grab something to eat. I just need a friend right now." Brody said.
