The forest was a place outside the kingdom's walls that only a few people know about. It's existence itself is pretty remote due to the extensive building outside the walls. Only hunters and collectors know this place well, which so happens that y/n's father was a hunter.

It's the place where y/n's father took her when she was 9. He loved taking her on his jobs. A lot of things was taught to her back then.

But it seemed impossible to get knowledge from her father since he went missing a few years back.

The birds were chirping happily, their music echoed throughout the forest. Big and old trees grew in every corner a person's eyes can see. In the shade of the leaves y/n walked.

It has always been calming when going into this place. The sun rays made little patches on the ground.

She took off into a lush area where a pond was placed in the middle. Her father loved taking her here to learn swimming and fishing. Y/n smiled at the sight of it. The place was still here, remaining untouched from the buildings.

Well that is, until she heard a branch splitting noise not far from her.

Y/n soon stood on her guard, her hand grabbed a piece of rock near her. Then, after a few seconds a figure appeared next to the pond. It didn't seem armored.

Golden blonde hair which was cut professionally stood out from the clearing. It shone under the patches of light. The person had blue eyes ..

As bright as the sky, y/n thought. But it didn't take long until she realize who he was.

Neatly cut clothing with badges decorating it, boots made from the finest skin, gloves beautifully made and a golden sheathed sword dangling next to his waist. This guy..

This guy is the so called Prince Minamoto!!

Her mind instantly jumbled, y/n had remembered what the merchant said,

"Prince Minamoto punishes anyone who bumps unto him."

If he punishes anyone who bumps into him, what would happen if someone interrupts him during his private time, let alone after he escaped the kingdom?!

Y/n instinctively took a step backwards. But she unknowingly stepped on a squirrel, causing it to run away. The squirrel made such noise that even a normal untrained human could hear from afar. It was obvious that the prince noticed.

"Who is it? Come out." He ordered. His voice soon sent chills to y/n's bones. The girl didn't dare disobey the prince. What would happen if she did?

Y/n walked out from where she was. Revealing her appearence to the prince in front of her.
