He pulled out a robe from his wardrobe, in hopes that people won't notice him. The robe was in a rich dark blue color and was decorated in yellow garments. Teru hopes that nobody recognizes him as fast as y/n.. Speaking of her, he's supposed to meet her in the forest today.

The prince couldn't retain his heart, it seemed as if it was going faster and faster every second. He decided to slap himself and went outside the gates.
The outside world had always amazed him in another way. He loved seeing people shouting and walking around in crowded places, the way they kept going in such circumstances is quite amusing.

The people wouldn't want to miss a day without selling a single thing, they just kept going even in this horrific weather.

Whilst cointaining his excitement, the prince jogged towards the outskirts of the kingdom. The kingdom he was trapped in for years.. He thought.
It had already reached noon when he arrived, the trees gently covering him with their leaves, as if they were protecting him from the fierce sun.

He stopped at a familiar place. It was also where Teru went to on the first day.

The lake.

Honestly, the golden haired boy found it weird for him to be going here, out of all places. His mind seemingly unconsciously took him by the lake. As always, the birds sung in such a beautiful melody that never cease to amuze Teru.

Beside the body of water stood a girl so familiar yet so distant. She was playing alone with the birds...
Today, her h/c hair was tied up in a ponytail.

"Y/n." The prince called out. One sentence was all it took for the girl to turn her concentration to him.
She smiled as she jogged in small steps.

"Teru!"

"Mn. What are we going to do today?"

They both took a seat near the lake, just like yesterday. After finding a comfortable position, y/n finally answered: "I've thought of it. How about telling each other stories? Like fairytales."

Fairytales. His mother often told Kou and himself to sleep with them. The very fairytales she told have etched deep in his memories.

Prince Teru, "I don't see what's wrong with that. Let's do it!"

Then they did it, they told stories until dusk falls. It was a mixture between fairytales and their real life stories. Y/n and Teru would agree that today is the very day they start to understand eachother.

Like how y/n found out that Teru has a habit sleeping with damp hair, how he studies literature every wednesday, and how much he loves Kou and Tiara.

Teru had also found out about y/n's habit.. The things she would do after finishing work, how much she hates greedy merchants, and the story of her parents..
Which was unbelievably sad for a person so bright like her.

The day ended with satisfaction for them, the day was amazing.
