Upon hearing what y/n called him, Teru scoffed. "No need to call me Teru-sama! I sound so old and too high class." He tucked his hands and pouted. She wanted to laugh so badly, her palm was placed unto her mouth in a way to supprees her laughter.

This guy.. He's too cute!!

"Alright, I'll call you Teru but only if you answer this question." Said the h/c haired girl. Y/n was happy because finally she's getting down to business. Without waiting for the prince to reply, she asked: "Why did you leave the palace?"

The boy's expression also tightened. He knew this sort of question was coming, and he did everything in order to erase the probability of somebody asking this. But still, she asked him in the end.
His left hand instinctively grabbed his sheathed sword. "You see.."

"You see, as you may know my father had killed countless of people during the first round of rumors came out, I wasn't an exception. He got angry with me due to being too 'nice' in front of people. I was punished, I was supposed to not get out of the palace until I start my reign..

But one day the gates opened, it happened to be today. All of the servants were encouraging me to go out, who knows who let them do such an act.

And I have 2 weeks to roam around the kingdom before my father comes back from the neighboring kingdom. When he's back, that means no going out for years."

While he was talking, they locked eyes. Y/n stared at him, her brain trying to process what her ears had heard. While Teru talked in such a way until all of his happy-go-lucky expression disappeared.

When he had finished, nobody talked.

Instead of thinking further to detail, y/n stared at him. Being this close to the prince was a bliss, really. She examined his face, the bright golden hair was flawless, his blue eyes moved intelligently from side to side, and she found out something, his lips were chapped.
It seemed like the prince had been taking the life of his poor lips. Y/n knows, the prince had been drowning in anxiety for too long.

A bird sung, and it snapped her from her train of thoughts.

"That's awful." Was all she managed to say. The h/c haired girl meant it, though. Nobody was allowed to be treated this way.
Teru smiled. It's always that smile, even when he's suffering. The boy next to him stood up, his fingers quickly cleaned up his lap.

The prince, "It's alright. A few years later, I'm gonna reign as king. And I'm not going to do the same mistake as my father."

The girl took the signal and stood up as well. "I'm sure you can do better than him. You'll bring more happiness to the people."

The day was coming to an end, it was marked with the skies turning to a grayish teal color. The clouds were painted with yellow.
All around them, the animals grew quiet, and the piercing heat falters.

"It's been a day, y/n."

"It really has been."

The day was nearly over, which meant that y/n wouldn't be able to see the prince anymore. The girl tried to erase her sadness and gave a smile.

"Do you think you can meet me at here, tomorrow?" The prince asked, it was more of an invitation actually.

Teru really meant it, it was the first time he had met someone who doesn't see him from his class.
Upon hearing the invitation, y/n jolted. She couldn't erase the huge grin on her face.

"Yes! Obviously!"
