The prince stood silent as his eyes examined y/n's appearance. He was calm, way too calm for a person whose private time was interrupted.

On the other hand, y/n was confused. She didn't know what to do, what should she do, and what can she do to get out of this situation.

Thus, the two teenagers stood still in silence.

The prince sighed, "You, why are you here?"

It was enough to destroy the silence looming over them. Y/n jolted at the sudden question. But she didn't have time to wonder why the prince would ask in such a nice manner.
Her e/c colored eyes darted towards a pile of rocks on the other side of the pond.

"U-uhm I was taking a break?" She answered, before the golden haired prince can reply she added, "I mean! It's not like I'm stalking you or anything, and I really hope I'm not interrupting you..!"

That's it, surely it was enough to make any sort of tyrant lose temper. Y/n was pondering whether she should kneel in front of him or not. Might as well be executed in this beautiful area, she thought to herself.

But unexpectedly, the prince laughed. It wasn't an evil laugh or some sort. It was pure laughter coming from within. Teru's laughter filled the whole forest. Anyone outside might hear it, honestly.

Y/n stood there, dumbfounded and not daring to move an inch. Her mouth gaped in awe.

Prince Minamoto, "I'm sorry I'm sorry, it's just, it's been so long since I've been out. I've forgotten what the outside world is like."

At this point, the girl doesn't understand what makes him laugh so hard?!

His smile was gleaming, it was just too beautiful for someone like y/n.

Teru successfully suppressed his laughter, he made a move to let y/n come closer to him. He was allowing a normal civillian near him.

He then sat next to the pond. The sheathed sword of his was placed next to him. It glimmered below the patches of the sun.

"Here next to me." The prince smiled as his hand gestured at an empty spot next to him. Knowing it was an invitation, she slumped next to the prince.

"Oh also, there's no need to be sorry."

But y/n just couldn't understand, why was he so nice? Isn't he supposed to be the tyrant everyone fears? The sadistic first prince who plays the game of murders?

Her brows were furrowed together. Teru might have realized the expression she was making. "What's wrong?" The blonde boy asked. It was obvious that he's able to read people.

Y/n, "No it's nothing.. It's just that, I find it hard to believe that you are.. The same person people flip over in gossips."

"Oh rumors? I don't pay much attention to them. Heck, I haven't been outside the castle for so long.. Would you care to tell me?"

Hesitation filled her mind. What if.. He wants to kill them? She thought.

But y/n gave up. She told the stories clearly.
