The whole way up I paid no mind to the boy. Once we were away from all the mess I pulled him into my old room. I took a quick look around, nothing had changed. When I faced the boy I noticed that his eyes studied me.
"You made a mistake." Is all I said.
His expression was confused but changed to horror as he put his own meaning to my words. He took a step back and I walked up to him, pinning him against the door. My eyes never left his as I locked the door behind him.
"You got family?" I asked, taking a step back.
He nodded his head after a few seconds.
"Do you?" He timidly asked.
"The people downstairs killed them and then kidnapped me when I was like five or something." I turned to face him and gave a weak smile. "That's why I will help you back to a normal life."
Before I could move past him, my knees gave out and I would have fallen if not for the boy.
"Let me clean you up." He sat me on the bed and began to clean my wounds. "I'm sorry." He said quietly. I shook my head slightly and said, 'No worries'
After he had cleaned and bandaged my wound, we decided to go out the window because he didn't want to see or smell the dead bodies downstairs. Luckily for us a few bikes were left with the keys attached to them for an easy get-away. Dorian, I had found out to be the boys' name, got on the bike behind me. He was still scared but not of me, we cleared things up back in the room when we talked.
As I started the engine a group of bikes came into the area, they were all wearing the Frost Walkers emblem. I didn't hesitate when I pulled out my gun and shot them before they could take action or see what I did back inside.

Dorian refused to meet my eyes after that. I didn't mind; after all, He has seen me ruthlessly kill dozens of people in the span of ten minutes.
The ride was silent apart from him giving me directions. He lived far away and that's a good thing, the gang would be further away from his family and friends.

I parked the bike on his driveway, I took a look at his living situation. Dorian lived in a small trailer, barely looked big enough for two people. I turned to the door and knocked a few times. After a few seconds a small woman opened the door, she had light brown hair up in a messy bun, her eyes a lovely blue.
This has to be Dorian's mother.
The woman took a good look at me and shrunk into a ball. I looked down at my appearance, my shirt was stained in blood, my hair was messy and had a bit of dried up blood, and in my waistband was a gun. Before I could speak Dorian stepped into view, all the worries and fear seemed to evaporate because she pushed me to the side and engulfed her son into a tight and motherly hug.
"Where have you been, you stupid boy?" The lady hugged her son closer and cried into his shoulder.
"Hey mama," Dorian pulled her close and rubbed a hand up and down her back in a soothing manner. "This is Ex." I gave him a grateful look before focusing on his mother.
His mother turned to look at me once again. Her eyes looked about ready to cry a river, maybe even an ocean.
"Is she here to tell me that I will never see you again?" We both gave her a bewildered look and I tried not to laugh, it just didn't seem right.
"Not quite. I'm here to say that he has come home for good."
Her eyes grew and she turned to her son for confirmation. Dorian simply nodded his head with a smile. She pulled us both into a hug and then pulled us into the small home. She sat Dorian on the sofa then looked at me.
"You must be exhausted, come, come, take a rest." I shook my head and smiled at her.
"I really must get going. I have things to take care of." She looked at my hands and nodded with a scared look.
"Thank you for bringing back my son."
"No problem. Here, this is to keep your son out of trouble. Do you have a pen?" She looked confused but went to get a pen. I took out my trusty check, just the one, and wrote down the amount for a million.
She took the check and she rapidly looked from me to the check over and over again.
"I can't possibly accept this." She tried giving it back but I pushed it closer to her.
"I've been through hell and I wouldn't want Dorian to waste his life in a gang. Save this money for his education and for a better life." I smiled at her before walking out the front door.
Dorian stood at the doorway as I got on the bike.
"Will we ever meet again?" I looked up at him and smiled sadly.
"If we ever do it's going to be at my funeral." He shook his head in amusement but my words were the truth.
I took one last look at him and his mother before turning the bike on and riding out of their driveway.
I hope he finds his calling.
I sped down the roads on my way back to the gang house. Although it only brought back bad memories I had to go back one last time before finally being able to move on.
The door was slightly open, I did not leave the door open. I cautiously got off my bike and pulled out my gun. When I got closer I could hear hushed voices. They sound familiar, almost friendly and welcoming, but they all sounded terrified.

"What the hell."
