So! Eleven stories into Heroes Collide! Thank you to everyone who has been reading. This might be one of the most exciting projects I have ever written and I have some wild and crazy plans for this.
I do want to reiterate before continuing that while all of the characters in this story are OCs I have created. Some of them have ties to the DC Universe. Natalie, Jeremy, Sammy, Lenny (Rory), Carrie, Colleen, The Isley Twins, and even Immanuel Lord are all characters with ties to heroes in the DC Comics Universe. This is part of the reason I labeled this story fanfiction, because it kind of is! There are more elements from the comics that I have planned on bringing in. All for the fun of this project.
This has opened opportunities to explore so many facets of my work and mix all my ideas (in-progress or abandoned). As I have hinted ever so slightly, there is something wrong with this world and it will all be explained as we go.
NOW! For the fun part! Another thing that has made planning this story fun is an interactive element. In a few stories, you will encounter... a choice. Now normally, choices will be rather rare (Especially with the rate I am posting these.), but they will make a huge difference! Every choice that you are led to make will have HUGE consequences in the future. Some of these choices may kick off huge reveals/events or may not bear any fruit until you least expect it. Some of the characters themselves will be tied to these choices and their survival could count on you. There is no wrong choice. Just keep in mind, what you do will affect the story.
This first choice will only have one consequence, but it will not affect anything in the future. Either choice in this first decision will keep the story going smoothly.
Just wanted to give fair warning so you don't get caught off guard! And if you don't understand, do not worry! I will be posting similar instructions when the choice comes up! Enjoy!
