Savior - Kirito x OC

Chapter Two

        - Misaki's P.O.V -

        "Please? I wanna go defeat the first boss!" Kisaka begs as she holds onto my arm, staring into my soul with those big blue eyes of hers. It's weird though, she has blue eyes, I have green ones. We're standing in the middle of the next town, currently arguing if we should go to the meeting about fighting the first floor boss. It's only been almost I week I guess of being stuck in this game, and already two thousand people have died. I'm not going to let Kisaka become one of them. She hugs me tighter and begins to whine a lot more. Sheesh, for a thirteen year old, she still acts like a little kid. Well, sometimes. "Come on, Misaki! I'm only three level lower than you! We can work together!"

        I pause for a moment and think. She is only three levels lower than me, and I'm level twenty one. Plus Kisaka has been training really hard lately. But, if I bring her to the meeting and fight the boss, she might.. Wait, no. I'll be there with her, I'll be able to protect her. I close my eyes and exhale fairly loudly. "Okay, let's go to the meeting."

        Kisaka lets go of me and claps her hands together. "Yay!" She starts running in the direction of the meeting, but I stop her. "Aww, what is it now?"

        "Put your cloak on." I tell her, equipping mine. She opens up the menu and equips it too. Right after she has hers on she begins to drag me to the meeting.

        Kisaka and I are sitting down, waiting for the meeting to start, I notice one other person in a cloak, but it's red and ours is pitch black. I just didn't want anyone to see Kisaka's face, so I pull her hood up and leave mine down. She doesn't question it. After more people arrive, a man with electric blue hair stands in front. 

        "Hello, I'm Diabel. I've gathered you all here to confirm the rumor going around about us finding the first floor boss." A few mummers emerge from the crowd. "So, we're all going to team up and fight this boss together." As he said that I put my arm around Kisaka, she turns and smiles at me. I smile back at her, but nervously. What should I be nervous about? She's an amazing fighter! A natural talent. Just then a guy stands up. As I'm having a conversation with myself in my head, I tune out his and Diabel's conversation, something about Beta Testers? 

        "Okay, I want everyone to team up." Diabel says after their intense conversation that I clearly could care less about. Everyone starts to walk up to the people they know, I scan the crowd, details automatically flit through my mind. Kisaka jolts up suddenly, startling me. I look in the direction her eyes are and see a boy with black hair and matching black eyes. He looks an awful lot like Suguha. Kisaka walks over to him and the other cloaked figure. I try to stop her but she's already out of my reach. So I just follow her.

        "Kirito?" She says as she pulls her hood off in front of him. Crap, why did you do that Kisaka? I stand next to her. "How's Suguha?" Kirito looks up and my little sister and I. He looks a bit surprised seeing her here. Suguha, Kirito's little sister, and Kisaka are best friends. They would do everything together, but it's kinda sad how their two older siblings have never met. Until now. 

        "Oh, Sugu is fine." He says a bit nervously and turn to me. "Are you Kisaka's older sister?" I nod my head once.

        "Yes, I'm Misaki." I simply say.

        "Kirito. Do you wanna team up?" I look at Kisaka and she nods rapidly. If continues to do that with her head, it actually might fly off. I nod too and Kirito sends us a party invitation, we both accept and I read the cloaked figure's name. Asuna. The meeting finishes and Kisaka and I leave, to both eat, and train.

        It's been about one hour after the meeting, and Kisaka and I are already training. We fight back to back, killing an entire pack of wolves in under one minute. She's getting really good, almost better than me. I pat her on the back as she smiles brightly at me. But her smile fades as her stomach grumbles, even though we just ate. "I'm hungry." She says, rubbing her bell. I poke it. 

        "You're always hungry." I bend down to pick up my sword, even though I don't remember putting it down and Kisaka jumps up on my back. I guess I'm going to be giving her a piggy back ride all the way back to town. We sit in a restaurant, eating. Kisaka finishes in only five minutes.

        "Wow, how hungry are you?" I laugh.

        "What do you think?" She giggles as she leans back in her chair. I look out the window and I hear Kisaka yawn. 

        "It's getting pretty late, we should go rest now." I say finishing up my food. I already paid for our dinner and we head out. As we walk out of the restaurant I see Kirito and Asuna sitting next to each other, eating. My heart sinks a bit. Kisaka and I walk in the other direction, searching for a place to sleep in.
