- Misaki's P.O.V -
Asuna leans in closer to Kirito and hold onto his arm, smiling sweetly. I roll my eyes again and look away. The faint sound of a viola playing catches my attention. I search for the player and it's sound. A girl with blonde hair and sky blue eys is playing it on the side of the street. I walk up to her. Her playing is amazing. ''Where did you get the Viola?" I ask her, she finishes the note she's on.
"Over at the music shop." She replies.
"Is there a piano nearby?"
She nods. "Mhmm, right... There." and she points to a grand piano sitting on the middle of the center of town. I thank her and walk away towards the piano. I slowly sit down on it and carefully run my fingers over the top of the keys. There is a music skill after all. There's no sheet music, but I play a song by memory. My fingers gently press down on the keys as I play my heart out. I close my eyes and the piano begins to play itself.
Usually, Kisaka and I would play this as a duet, but she's no longer with me anymore. Fresh hot tears rolls down my cheeks. I'm tired of crying. I play the last note and hold it as long as the piano can. I've poured out all of my sadness and hope out into this song. People all around me applaud, I didn't even notice them. I watch as my music skill rapidly levels up, Kirito puts his hand on my shoulder and I turn to face him. He gives me a warm smile, somthing I desperately need right now. I look at Asuna who has her arms crossed, and a mean look on her face. I could care less about her. There's only one goal set in my mind. Something that I've been thinkning about for a while now. Kisaka wouldn't want me to give up, she'd want me to fight, to walk in the light. I will beat this game for you Kisaka. It's my mission.
I promise.
