The drawing was drawn by me. I wanted to show you how Jefferson looked like. Also, I can't draw animals or fur for shit so you get a crappy drawing of 1471. The image is also on my Tumblr, Instagram, and DeviantArt. Names are in my profile's description.
When you get stuck while writing, it's always good to start on a new one to keep you going until you have enough inspiration and motivation to continue writing your main story. I didn't plan to go farther on Stalking friends, but I got a little inspiration.

Home. That's all he could think about. He needed to get home and he needed to be there now. He was running as fast as he could; his backpack and grocery bags jumping up and down as they sync with the running. His heart was accelerating and felt too much, but he had to keep going. He was almost there. Just a while longer to reach his apartment. All while this was happening, his phone ringed non stop.

Jefferson managed to get to the flight of stairs, and though his feet were killing him, he used his last bit of strength to run up them. At the door, he struggled to get his keys from his pocket. He eventually got them out and managed to put the key in the keyhole, swinging it open, afterward. After finally setting down the groceries on the floor, he took a breather.

He turned around a was met face to face with a skeletal dog face. He screamed at the sudden presence in front of him, "AAAAAHHHHHHoh my god, it's just you." Jefferson closed his eyes and drew out a breath of relief. The creature, on the other hand, moved his shoulders up and down, indicating that he was laughing.

Jefferson shook his head. "Yeah, ha ha, real funny." He picked up his groceries and moved to the kitchen to set them down on the counter. "As you can see, I'm in a real hurry right now." His phone ringed again. He took it out of his pocket to see it was the creature trying to speak to him. Jefferson figured out he was mute since he could only communicate through text but it didn't bother him.

The text read, "What's up?", indicating that he wanted to know the reason why he was such in a hurry. While looking at the message, Jefferson saw that he texted him several times, before.

"Wow. Dude. Did you really have to spam me?" He looked back up at the dog-thing- whatever it was and lifted his left eyebrow.

He just smiled and texted to him, "I was worried" along with, "You weren't answering :("

Jefferson sighed and put his phone on the counter. "Alright. I guess that's understandable." He turned around to face the groceries and began taking them out of the bag. "But to answer your question, I was running because I lost track of time at the grocery store and I need to start making these ribs before my friends come."

His phone ringed again and he looked to see the words, "You have friends!?" with an XD emoji right next to it.

The black hair man rolled his eyes. He looked back at the creature with a smirk. "Yes, I have friends." He took out the ribs and put them on the counter next to a cutting board. "You're not the only one I hang out with." He went over to the sink to wash his hands before going back to the pork. The creature appeared right behind him and looked over his shoulder to see what he was doing. Jefferson smiled at this. He grabbed a knife and used it to cut off the plastic from the ribs then cut it to pieces. "Hey, how about you make yourself useful and help me?"

The creature smiled and went over to the groceries.

-------------------------------------

"So, you found a name for yourself?" Jefferson asked while drowning the ribs in pineapple juice.

The creature stopped smashing the potatoes and looked back at Jefferson. He shrugged his shoulders saying he didn't know.

Jeff gave him a tired look. "Oh c'mon. there has to be a name you like. I don't want to keep calling you dude, dude."
