[ It was just a prank ]

I decided to prank my boyfriend, telling him that I don't love him anymore and it would be better if we ended our relationship.

He asked for a reason and I told him that I just woke up one day and felt nothing towards him.

I was expecting him to cry nor to beg for me to stay but he just requested something.

" Stay by my side for three days and I will let you go after that," he said seriously.

I was curious of what he was planning and so I agreed with it.

On our first day, he brought me to the place where he asked if it's okay to court me. It was also the exact place where I said my "Yes" to him. Everything was so nostalgic and it brought me into tears.

On the second day, he became so clingy and touchy to me. Every seconds, he asked either to hold his hands, to hug him tightly or to kiss him.

The day just ended with him being so clingy and affectionate.

On our last day, he brought me to the church and we stayed there for a couple of hours.

The night finally arrives and before we parted our ways, we stayed in front of our gate.

"I love you so much, Eilla," he uttered and I could feel that he was about to cry.

It was my first time seeing him so vulnerable and it made my heart clenched.

"I brought you to the place where our love story started because you told me that you fell out of love. And I was hoping that you find that spark you are seeking for," he said and I saw his tears runs down his cheeks.

Awww, my man just cried. That was just a prank, baby.

"On the second day, I've became so clingy to you because I might miss your touch, your hands and everything about you once we separate our ways," he said in a sad tone. He suddenly avoided my gaze as he wiped his tears away.

I can't help but to cry silently. That's my man!

"And on our last day, I took you to church because I promised to you that I will marry you. I did not come into your life and courted you for nothing. I courted you not because I was just so bored but because I want you to be the woman I will bring in front of the altar and the woman I want to spend with for the rest of my life."

My heart just melt when he said that.

"I did it because I don't want you to stop just because you're not interested anymore, because baby, love isn't just about glitters and rainbows." Now he's preaching me

"I don't want to let you go that easily.I have struggled with your yes so I will make it difficult for you to leave my life,"he said and he cried one again.

I can't help but to hug him tightly.

"That was just a prank, baby," I said as I caressed his back.

I was expecting him to get angry but he just hugged me tightly and he burst out in tears like a baby.

"D-Don't do it again, baby please... I love you so damn much," he uttered between sobs.

Damn because of this prank, I just realized of how lucky I am because I have a man who is afraid to lose me.
