Save Them

Hey guys I'm back with another heart wrenching chapter, grab the tissues cause shits about to go down *kevin hart voice*

   I'm dead, I'm dead, is this how it's going to end? I think to myself as he throws my body up against the wall his dead, pale, blood shot eyes as he leaned down between my neck and shoulder and bit down as hard as he could into my flesh. My scream echoed through the lab, Dimitri and everyone screaming my name as blood of my own was splattered everywhere as he ripped some flesh off my shoulder and some of my neck. He sat there holding me as he devour the flesh in his mouth, looking at me as he licked his lips.

My vision began fading very quickly as my blood trickled down my chest and I looked up, in full anger. There was no way I was gonna die like this, I had to make sure everyone was okay, before I even left this world. When I looked into the zombies I screamed. "Let me go!" And when I screamed  the zombie instantly stopped and looked at me with a blank stare, but he instantly dropped me and I landed down on the ground with a loud thud. I grabbed my shoulder that bled and put some pressure on it as he stood there looking at me, I slowly began running out as he snapped out of it and snarled loudly and began running after me. I screamed as I saw Dimitri fighting the zombies off.

   "Run!!!" I screamed and looked back to see him running with a unremarkable speed, knocking zombies down in the midst, there bodies crumbling to the ground as if they were nothing. I finally reach Dimitri who grabbed me, seeing me hold my shoulder and neck area, who then grabbed me around the waist and dragged me forward with the others. Damon's eyes winding as he saw me, he still having Raven in his other arm fighting as she also was swinging her bat around like a mad doll. I looked around as I saw a vehicle not to far In front of pizza place. I pointed to it and we all started towards it. Zombies trying to stop us, but Dimitri sliced his sword through the zombies head, his mushed, black brains splattering all over and he kept forward, still holding onto me as we made it to the vehicle and we all got inside safely. Tank trying to start it as my eyes darted to the window as I saw the mutated zombie getting closer, my voice shaken and unsteady as I screamed.

"Hurry up!!! He's getting closer oh my god!!" But after a couples seconds tank started the car and sped off running over some zombies in the process. With the speed we took off just in time before the mutated zombie reached the car, his body and the rest of the zombies disappearing behind us. I looked around frantically as Dimitri tried helping me with my wound and I didn't see my brother.

   "Where is my brother!!!" I screamed as more blood surfaced from my wound everyone staring at me with such a quietness. I looked at Dimitri who had tears swirling his face and I also looked at Damon who was also trying to hide tears. But Raven was the one who spoke.

   "He said he had to stay, make sure you're mom didn't do anything rational, he said he would try and help us the most he could..he wanted me to tell you he was sorry." Tears swelled in my eyes as Dimitri tried helping my wound but I pulled away from him. "Tavia I need to..I need to clean that with the stuff we have so it doesn't spread!" Dimitri yelled making everyone in the car jump from his sudden outbursts. My eyes that were filled with tears looked at him, seeing the true pain surface as I spoke.

   "It won't work on me...I saw my moms paper work of the things she was trying, if I was to get bit...the things I tried would be useless.." Dimitri shook his head not believing it as Damon finally made eye contact with me, his eyes blood shot as if he had been so stressed and crying lately. My body seemed to shut down, loosing all sorts of feeling in it as he spoke.

  "There's gotta be another way! You can't just..." he stopped before he spoke the words die...I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. When I opened them Dimitri was looking away with such a anger I had never see before.

"How long do I have..." I whispered as everyone looked at me, all there eyes pained. But it was Raven once more to speak to me, my eyes looking over at her bruised face.

"It depends on the person but usually 3 days is the longest I've seen for someone to turn..." she said before her voice trailed off and she looked down. I knew instantly she had to be talking about her daughter who she lost. I took a deep breath looking at Dimitri who wouldn't look at me but I grabbed his face, making him look at me as tears rolled down from his eyes, his face showing so much pain and misery it was making me break completely inside.

  "Don't shut down please?" He closed his eyes, leaning into my hands as he opened his eyes again shaking his head. I looked around at everyone as tank spoke.

  "I know..we just meet but I feel like you have been apart of this family for a long time..your a strong girl, I have no doubt you will figure it out...."

For the next couple hours everything got quiet, everyone at as quiet as a bird but Dimitri was still adamant about my wounds. So just for peace I let him do it. His hands very gently on me as I bit my lip as he burned it quickly, then he cleaned it again and covered it. His eyes trailing over my features as I also stared at him, taking in everything. My head pounding from the force of when the zombie slammed me into the wall and ground. But I didn't dare tell them, I just took a deep breath and looked at every once appearance as we drove back home. I looked from tank, to Raelynn, to Raven. Raven looked in so much pain but she didn't say one word about it. Her hair was slowly blowing against the wind that hit us from the window that was cracked opened.  I looked over to Dimitri who looked forward like he was lost, his eyes seemed to be searching for a answer, any answer at this moment. It looked at any moment he was gonna break down. His beautiful green eyes, the way they shined against the sunlight made me seem like I could always fight on, if he was beside me. It was clear I did love him...and I always had...but there was always that one person....

  I looked over to Damon who sat there, his face showing no emotion, like he was trying so hard not to let anything bother him. Like he was trying to be strong for everyone else that was broken. I sighed leaning back, taking a deep breath as my body screamed for sleep but I kept fighting my eyes from falling keep my stare on Damon as I saw his eyes connect to mine and in that moment everything in the way he looked at me, told me that he too was broken about what was happening to me, with that everything went black and I was sucked into the darkness with such a warm welcoming. The darkness swallowing me hole, my body falling feeling so light my eyes seemed to adjust to the darkness and I saw so many things around me. Body parts, blood dripping all over me. I touched my face to feel the blood soaked my face and when I looked up, I saw my mothers face, she was laughing hysterically.

   "You will be something so dangerous you will loose everyone you love..cause I won't have to kill them..you will do that on your own.."

And with that I really was lost within the darkness screaming for help to get out of it, but in a matter of seconds I was no longer falling I was standing in the darkness and images of me eating flesh came around me. It showed images of me eating random peoples face, guts, heart and when I looked up my eyes were blood shot and white. I screamed grabbing my head.

"NOOOOOOOO!!!!!"
