A Long Car Ride

                                      My eyes shot open very quickly, my whole body jolting forward as Nick looked at me with confusion. I took a couple breath as Raven snickered from the front seat. I also seen Damon's eyes look back at me in concern. I looked around noticing we were in the pits of the dessert with no zombies around us, just half standing abandoned buildings. I leaned back in my seat and closed my eyes trying to calm my beating heart as i heard Nick's echoing voice.

    
"Are you alright?" I shook my head and opened my eyes to see Damon again staring out the corner of his eyes. I looked away instantly back out the window as i spoke.

  "Just another nightmare that's all." I finally spoke and when i did it didn't even sound like myself. It sounded so hurt and tired it even surprised myself.  Nick mumbled something before Raven's voice echoed back to us as she began laughing.

"That happens when you do horrible shit in you're life, especially ruining other people's life's." Nick was  about to say something bu i cut him off, sitting forward in my seat looking at the back of her head as i spoke. I know this was going to come up eventually in this ride might as well clear the air.

  "Yes i have done wrong in my life and I'm sorry things happened the way they did but i can tell you Raven what happened last night we had no control over....something much more powerful had us, and it was like...we couldn't control our bodies..i know you wont think so, but i promise you I wouldn't do that to you..yes me and Damon in my world was dating and had a special connection...and in this world...is completely opposite but I'm not going to lie to you..i still feel that connection with him but i will never do anything to hurt you guys again...plus i can't just come in this world and expect everything to be like my world...I'm trying to learn and accustomed to it...but please don't hate Damon. If you need to hate someone you can hate me...You and Damon are something magical and I don't want that to end because of something we can't understand..." Raven looked at me the whole time i was speaking and at first true anger showed but as i got towards the end of speaking i saw true sadness over powering her features.  Raven looked at Damon and a small tear fell from her eyes. I looked at Damon and shook my head at him as his face looked crushed as well. I knew it was true what i was saying, i would always love Damon but i knew i had to let him go, he was with Raven and I couldn't just come in and take that away from her. Plus I couldn't fo that to Dimitri either.

    Nick interrupted my thoughts as he laughed and his body stiffened. i looked up and saw the building that we were taken into before when we had crashed and taken into. Last time i knew there was guards outside but this time there was no guards outside. I looked at Nick, him sensing my unusual sensation and he clear his throat and spoke.

"She must knew we were coming because there is usually always guards outside, this could be a trap." Raven looked forward and Damon stopped the car. We stepped out and we went to the back and got the weapons and everything we needed and started heading toward the door.

'So what is the plan going in here?" Raven asked as they all looked at me with wanting to answers and i took a deep breath.

"Just let me do the speaking and when i say go...i mean go...okay?' The all looked at me in confusion but Raven shook her head and looked forward but i noticed Damon and Nick staring at me like they knew i was up to something not good. Which in all reality it was. I was going to sacrifice myself for the people i cared for so they could live a happy life for however long they could. But i knew i wasn't going to the be the reason they all died, I wasn't going to allow that. Even though there could be a possibility i could die in the process. So i looked forward, ignoring there confused faces as we reached the door to my mothers doom. I took a deep breath and opened the door and pointed the sword inside that Dimitri had given me. As Nick walked in front of me, he had his hands raised, reading to fight anyone in his way while Raven was beside me and Damon was behind us watching our backs.
