★ Gaara's POV ★

The words rang in Gaara's head. 'Too late'. Just then the mysterious figure disappeared with Sakura, watching a single tear drip from her eyes and down her cheek, she mouthed out 'Forgive me' and she was gone like that.

He blinked a few times and looked at the once occupied room now empty, a reminder of his loss.

He blamed himself for not protecting her well enough. He cursed himself at his weakness.

"My sand was on his leg," Gaara mumbled, "I could've stopped him and she'd still be here" Gaara growled slamming his fist on his desk.

"Gaara calm down" Temari reassured him.

"Yeah," Kankurō chimed in "This isn't like you to....er get this crazy" Kankurō mumbled.

"What don't you understand?! Gaara snapped, causing Temari and Kankurō flinch.

"We have three problems," Gaara began "One, with Sakura's theories about the enemies being Orchimaru and Kabuto coming to get Saki -for her kekkei genkai- are finding out that she's not the right person and is probably getting tortured, Second she's probably getting tested on and last how am I supposed to tell Godaime Tsunade, who will probably break all the bones in my body that I lost her best apprentice and medic to the enemy!" Gaara books angrily.

Temari and Kankurō both exchanged fearful looks. Just before Temari could talk, which would probably be her last with his temper, someone barges through the doors.

"Kazekage-sama we've just got word about the intruders," a woman with brown hair barges in with other sand shinobi behind her, "Is anyone hurt, missing?"

"Haruno Sakura," Temari answers with a frown, "The kunoichi from Konohakagure."

"How could they have gotten her!" A male shinobi, with black hair, exclaims.

"I've heard that she has monstrous strength and was trained the fearful Hokage of Konohakagure, Tsunade" A female shinobi chimes in.

"Who was strong enough to take her down?" The women asks. "There had to be at least ten or more?"

"Yeah" the other shinobi agree.

"There was only one" Kankurō answers.

"Not even" the female shinobi waves her hand. "There had to be more."

"We both saw with our own eyes," Temari crosses her arms and looks at them with an irritated expression, "There was only one."

"Are you sure," the male shinobi says, "It was dark and late maybe you weren't fully awake, I mean you did wake up when you heard the noise, correct?"

"Mako is right," the female nods her head, signaling that she agrees with the man, "I've read that once you wake up your eyes aren't quite adjusted as usual and you were probably still dreaming" she waves her finger at Temari.

"And where did you read that," Temari asked showing an annoyed look, "In your dream?"

Gaara groans and places his hands on his head. He couldn't concentrate with all the bickering and fighting going on.

"Silence!" Gaara orders and slams his fist on the table. "Fighting and arguing isn't going to help bring her back" Gaara says with a cold look.

"G-Gaara has a point" Mako gulps, knowing what could happen pushing his limits wouldn't be pretty.

"That's it!" Temari exclaims.

"What's it?" Kankurō asks.

"I know who can help us find Sakura," Temari pauses for a moment and tries to remember his name, "He came here one time for a mission, I'm pretty sure it was his Sensei" Temari pats her chin.
