Chapter 8 - Konoha's Terrible News

Tsunade was sitting at her desk filing paperwork, signing and filling out other important papers.

Tsunade let out a sigh of frustration and took a sip of her tea. She rubbed her temples slowly and closed her eyes for a moment.

Her eyes shot open when she heard footsteps running towards her room. As expected there was a knock.

"Come in" Tsunade orders.

"T-Tsunade-sama!" Shizune shouts panting heavily.

"What is it that's so important that you had to stop me from my work?" Tsunade pursed her lips and looked back down at her paperwork.

"It's a letter from the Kazekage," Shizune said with a saddening look, Tsunade's ears twitched hearing 'Kazekage', "You may want to read this" Shizune handed her the paper.

Tsunade didn't hesitate to grab the paper from Shizune's hand. Tsunade's eyes scan through the paper. Her jaw tightened and she crumbledthe paper from gripping onto it to tightly.

"Shizune!" Tsunade shouts. "I'm going to meet the Kazekage only a couple miles outside of the village!" With that Tsunade threw the paper down on the ground and hurried out to her destination.

The paper said:

Dear Godaime,
This is the Kazekage of Sunakagure. I'm sorry to tell you this but, Sakura has been kidnapped. I haven't been honest with you but, lately these two mysterious figures have been visiting us for hours. Sakura has made some theories as to who it is. I'd like to meet you in a small village just a couple miles out of Konohakagure. Please make time and meet me there.

Kazekage, Gaara

Gaara P.O.V

Gaara was waiting patiently. His hands resting on his lap, in a polite manner, waiting for an outraged Hokage, that was probably going to beat him to a pulp for losing her best student.

"Gaara I'm sure everything will be okay" Temari placed a hand on his shoulder.

Before Gaara can speak he could hear shouts and stomping coming towards the small restaurant that was in the village.

"Let's hope so" Gaara mumbled, looking a bit nervous.

The door swung open with great force. The person who could cause such force was none other than Tsunade the Hokage.

Tsunade had her hand planted in the middle of the door and wore a look of anger and coldness.

"Tsunade-sama!" Shizune shouted behind her. "Your Hokage, please show some respect and posture" Shizune said quite fearful as to what she said.

She cleared her throat and brushed herself off, "Excuse me, I didn't mean to cause this much commotion I'm just a tad bit...well how do I put this...angry." Just then Tsunade turned her attention to Gaara.

"Pleasure meeting you here, Kazekage" Tsunade smiled and the corners of her lips twitched. She made her way slowly over to the table, Temari and Kankurō faces turned pale as if they've seen a monster.

"Hello, Hokage" Gaara said in a polite manner. Tsunade remained silent for a moment and just took a moment to stare down Gaara.

Gaara gulped loudly and cleared his throat, "I'm guess you received my letter?"

"Of course I did, or else I wouldn't be here....aggravated" Tsunade said with a cold look.

"Well let me explain everything" Gaara shifted in his seat.
