Chapter 11 - Itachi's Plan, Konoha's Nightmare

"Oh no" Sakura mumbled.

'Why are they coming back after me?! I don't want to see them anymore" Sakura thought.

"Sakura?"

Sakura felt a warm, soft hand gently grasped her arm. She looked up to find a pair of dark onyx eyes staring straight through her emerald ones. It's like he was searching through her for an answer.

"We don't have to kill them?" Itachi spoke quietly.

"I don't want you guys to kill them," Sakura reassured them, "I just don't want to go back with them, to get treated like trash and worthlessness" Sakura mumbled. She thought of herself a a toy collecting dust on shelf, never to be treated and cared for like other toys. Just ready to break one day and to be forgotten about.

"Please just keep them away from me!" Sakura looked up at Itachi, with sad and pleading eyes.

Itachi went to speak and soothe Sakura but, Pein takes the words right out of his mouth, "We don't have to kill them, Itachi came up with a plan and it's a brilliant plan."

"Yeah" the white part of Zetsu piped in.

"It's a shame they would've became great meals for our plants" the meaner side of Zetsu sighed.

"You feed people to your plants?! Sakura exclaimed.

"Of course Saku-chan, they are actually quite delicious!"

Sakura scrunched her nose and gave Zetsu a disgusted look.

"Let me tell you the plan," Pein began and cleared his throat catching Sakura's attention, "Itachi will....."

Everyone had been running for awhile and took a few breaks here and there.

"You know Kakashi-Sensei," Shikmaru ran up towards Kakashi, "It's been quiet for awhile, a little too quiet do you think there might be an ambush ahead?"

"Possibly," Kakashi simply answered, "but we are going to be splitting up soon and we'll have Neji and Hinata use their byakugan to sense if there's anything ahead."

"Alright" Shikamaru nodded his head and pulled back from Kakashi getting ready to give the signal.

Shikamaru made sure everyone was in position before raising his hand and Gaara's group went west of Kakashi's group.

"Neji can you use your byakugan to see if there's anything or anyone up ahead?" Kakashi hollered.

"Hinata use your byakugan to see if there's someone ahead?" Gaara announced.

"San Daidōjutsu; BYAKUGAN!"

Hinata and Neji bother activated their Byakugans. Using it they could see whatever might cause them trouble ahead.

"There's nothing sighted!" Neji and Hinata said at the same time.

"No-Nothing sighted Kazekage-sama" Hinata spoke loud enough for Gaara to hear.

"Ino!" Kakashi spoke up catching the blonde's attention. "Can you communicate with the others and tell them no enemies have been sighted!"

"Understood" Ino nodded her head and everyone came to a stop.

"Mind Body Transmission Technique!"

Ino makes a hand signal and communicates with Gaara's group. She informs them on their information and they beginning heading for the hideout.
