Chapter 9 - Sasori's New Apprentance

"Oi, Sasori-san," Sakura called out to her crimson haired friend, "Which book should I start off with first?"

"Let's see," Sasori placed his tools down and headed over to his bookshelf filled with puppeteer books, "This is the basics of puppeteer" Sasori handed Sakura a medium sized book.

"Thank you" Sakura smiled with glee and took a seat on one of his couches.

Sakura scanned through the book. It did give a lot of information but, it was the main point to puppeteer.

'Puppeteer is a classification of Ninjutsu, Bukijutsu and Fighting Style. C-Rank. Class, Offensive, defensive and supplementary. Short to mid range.'

"Interesting" Sakura nodded and closed the book shut. She placed it back on the shelf. She spun around on her heels, her hands folded behind her back and she walked over to Sasori.

"Is this a new puppet your working on?" Sakura asked leaning

"No," Sasori simply answered and moved over so Sakura had a better view of his master piece, "I'm simply adding poisonous weapons for my human puppet."

"Human puppet?" Sakura repeated, clearly showing a confused face.

"Yes human puppet," Sasori nods his head and adds the last weapon to his puppet, "Let's get a better look at him, shall we?" Sasori asked with a grin.

"Yes" Sakura nodded her head anxiously.

Sasori held his hand out and his chakra threads connected to the lifeless puppet. With a slight movement of his fingers the puppet twirled and hovered about a couple inches higher than Sakura.

"I don't get it?" Sakura took a closer look at the puppet and rubbed her chin. "It looks like an ordinary puppet?" Sakura admitted, bluntly.

"Ordinary puppet!" Sasori scuffed. "There's a huge difference between an ordinary puppet and a human puppet!"

"Do tell" Sakura leaned in eagerly.

"First things first, I created the technique of human puppets, back when I lived in Suna," Sasori stated proudly, "Human puppets are created from human corpse-"

"HUMAN CORPSE!" Sakura shrieked.

"Yes human corpse" Sasori replied.

"Are you CRAZY!" Sakura exclaimed. "You just kill people and turn them into-into that!" Sakura shouts pointing to his human puppet.

"Not just anyone, I kill strong shinobi, who are worthy of my collection" Sasori answered.

"That doesn't seem right" Sakura murmured.

"Back to explanation," Sasori closed his eyes thinking back to where he started off, "Ah I remember, to make a human puppet, I remove their internal organs and preserve the body from decaying and add weapons, for example."

Sasori slightly moved his index finger as well as his pinky. Sharp blade stuck out of the puppets sleeves with purple liquid dripping down it.

"Poison, nice."

"Another big deference from human puppets and ordinary puppets are that, human puppets they retain their used chakra and any kekkei genkai the human host once had."

"Oh" Sakura nodded her head. "That makes more sense, know that you explain it, thank you" Sakura smiled.

"Of course," Sasori nodded his head and placed the puppet back down on his metal table, "Sakura I have a question?" Sasori turned back to the pinkette who was looking at more books.
