"Ella? Starella Gazer, stop daydreaming this instance!" Starella's mother, Stephanie, shouted from the other end of the table.
"Sure, I'd love some more pasta..." Starella said, without even looking at her mother.
Stephanie sighed and walked over to her daughter. "STARELLA! Can you hear me?!" Stephanie hardly ever raised her voice, so this wasn't normal.
Starella's brother Ethan decided to try. "Earth-to-Ella!" he said, trying to get her attention. "Ya?" Starella asked, annoyed. "You were daydreaming again, Ella!" Ethan told her.
"N-no! I was just thinking!" Starella stammered. She went back to eating her pasta. "She's hopeless!" she heard Stephanie whisper to her dad, Ben. Stephanie quickly glanced at Starella to make sure she wasn't listen.
But, Starella was listen, very carefully, and she silently told herself that she would never forget this moment.
