Vistial franticly searches for Kili. She had heard his shout somewhere ahead. A loud roar gains her attention and she looks down at a carve-out in the mountain.

"Kili!" Vistial gasps. Kili was fighting Bolg, Tauriel at his side. Borg manages to grab ahold of Tauriel and throws her to the side. Kili jumps in front of the orc as he approaches Tauriel. Bolg grabs him by the throat and stabs his mace into Kili's stomach. Vistial could hear his gasp of pain.

"NO!" Vistial dives down and smacks Bolg away from Kili. Bolg didn't stand a chance against the dragon. Vistial turns and sees Tauriel by Kili.

"Kili! Tauriel!" Vistial shifts and collapses by his side. She looks at Tauriel, who shakes her head with tears in her eyes. "Kili. No. No!" Vistial sobs, burying her face into Kili's chest. He was gone.

"Come back to me, Kili. Please." Vistial sobs. Tauriel lays a hand on the girl's shoulder.

"He's gone, Vistial. You need to let him go."

"I...I can't. I love him." A fresh wave of tears hit Vistial.

"Thorin!" Bilbo's voice echoes through the air, making Vistial look up. She sees Thorin battling Azog on an iced-over waterfall. Vistial could feel her blood boil.

"He's going to pay for everything he took from me." Vistial growls, shifting. She launches herself into the sky and flies toward Thorin and Bolg. She was going to protect Thorin if it was the last thing she did. She had promised Fili and she wasn't about to break it again.

"Thorin!" Vistial shouts as she dives at Azog. Thorin sees her and rolls out of the way just as she collides with Azog. The pale orc screeches in pain as she launches him across the lake.

"Remember me?" She growls as Azog stands. His face could barely display the hate he felt toward her. "This is for Fili and Kili." With a roar, she launches herself at the orc. Azog dodges her attack and slices at her front leg. Vistial goes down with a yelp and shifts, clutching her arm. She pulls out her sword as Azog approaches. The two fight back and forth. Vistial slips on the ice and falls onto her back. Azog immediately uses his advantage to pin her down. Vistial struggles to keep his sword away from her face.

"AARGH!" Thorin appears, knocking Azog away from Vistial. He helps her stand as Azog limps to his feet. "I've got your back."

"Thank you." Vistial smiles. The two turn to Azog. With a shout, they attack. The battle went on for several minutes. It appeared that Azog might just lose, especially when he fell into the water below. Thorin looks down at Azog's face through the ice. The orc's eyes suddenly open and he stabs his sword through the ice and into Thorin's foot. Thorin yells in pain and collapses.

"Thorin!" Vistial attacks Azog as he re-emerges, but the orc came back with a vengeance. He grabs ahold of Vistial and throws her. Vistial collapses to the ground as she collides with a boulder. She looks up and sees Azog approach Thorin slowly.

"Thorin!" She shouts, trying to get up. "No, leave him alone!" Azog looks over at her with a smile before throwing his sword down at Thorin. Thorin manages to block, and the two strain as Azog pushes his sword closer to Thorin. Thorin allows the sword to slash into him and stabs Azog. The orc falls back and stumbles into the water once more, never to be seen again.

"Thorin..." Vistial staggers to her feet and limps over to the fallen dwarf.

"Vistial." Thorin smiles softly at her.

"Sh, don't move. Don't move. Lie still." Vistial pulls back his shirt and examines the wound.

"I'm glad you are here." Thorin states.

"Yeah, well, you'd be dead if I wasn't." Vistial says, ripping at her shirt and pressing the cloth into his wound. Thorin groans in pain.

"I wish...to part from you in friendship." Thorin says.

"No. Don't say that. You are not going anywhere. You're going to live." Vistial desperately tries to stop the bleeding, but it was no good.

"I would take back my words and my deeds at the Gate. You did what only a true friend would do. Forgive me. I was too blind to see it. I am so sorry for what I did to you." Thorin says.

"Shut up, Thorin, just shut up. I'm not letting you die." Vistial cries, tears filling her eyes.

"Farewell, navigator. I hope you are able to live well." Thorin says as his eyes close.

"No. No, no, no. No. Thorin. Thorin, don't you dare." Vistial's voice wavers as she shakes Thorin by his shoulders. "Thorin. Thorin. Thorin, hold on. Hold on, please." Vistial's breath catches in her throat. Thorin Oakenshield, the King under the Mountain, was dead.

"The Eagles are here! The Ea..." Bilbo suddenly appears. He stops when he sees Vistial and Thorin's body. "Thorin..." Vistial shakes her head, crying again.

"He's gone, Bilbo. I couldn't save him. I couldn't save any of them." Vistial cries. Bilbo drops to her side and pulls her to him as she sobs. Bilbo looks over as Gandalf appears with the rest of the Compnay.

"Bilbo, where are..." Gandalf's eyes fall on the girl in Bilbo's arms and Thorin's body.

"Oh no..." Balin's face falls. Gandalf walks over to the two. Vistial looks up as the wizard approaches.

"They're gone, Gandalf. They're all gone." She cries.

"I am sorry, Vistial." He says, placing a hand on her shoulder. She jumps up and wraps her arms around him. The Company gathers around, each one of them crying. Vistial lets go of Gandalf and kneels next to Thorin. Taking a breath, she begins to sing. Her voice was slightly shaking, but rang out strong and loud.

Feels like we're on the edge right now
I wish that I could say I'm proud
I'm sorry that I let you down
Oh, I let you down
All these voices in my head get loud
And I wish that I could shut them out
I'm sorry that I let you down
Oh, let you down

I'm sorry
I'm so sorry now
I'm sorry
That I let you down
