*flashback*

"Are you gonna eat that?" I hear a girl say behind me. "Look, i'm not in the mood for this so whoever you are can you just leave? Please." I keep my candy bar in my hand and walk away. "Okay, i'm sorry. Can you just please turn around so I know i'm talking to the right person." I stop and slowly turn around to face her. It was Bailey. She comes running towards me with a huge grin on her face wrapping me into a hug which seemed to last forever. But, I didn't mind I guess. "I'm so happy to see you Ashton I was worried about you i'm not sure why but I felt like there was something wrong. " "Well, Yeah i'm upset. But Hey, i'll be fine. You really don't need to worry about me." I give her a half a smile. "Do you wanna...go walk around the park with me or something? I mean, unless your busy." I hardly know this girl and she's asking me to go hang out with her? Of course she's was absolutely gorgeous and obviously very sweet but these days you can't be fooled. "Erm, sure why not?" I Smile and I go to pay for my candy bar. We walk side by side on the trail in the park across the street from the market. "So, Ashton that's a cool name you know! "

" thank you but, I hate it."

"What!? How could you possibly hate such a beautiful name like that? At least you aren't stuck with Bailey. Real original huh?" "Thanks. And would you stop Bailey is an adorable name. Especially for you."

I make her blush and she turns her head away from me so I wouldn't notice.

"How is your life? Your in a band right? Hows that going? do..you have a girlfriend..?"

"Woah woah slow down with all the questions will ya? "Sorry." She says looking down at her feet in embarrassment. "And since you asked, my life sucks sometimes, yes i'm in a band and its going amazing we have been posting youtube videos and there getting tons of views and, no I dont have a girlfriend."

"Oh..I see Well that's awesome that your posting videos i'll have to check them out sometime." She smiles and I nudge her in the side gently. "Hey! What's that for?"

"Cause, your just so amazing and your so positive about everything. It just makes me happy to see someone like that."

"Well, I try. Look, can I ask you a weird question?" She says nervously. I can tell by the sound of her voice. "Uh, Yeah of course."

"Okay, what's with all the bracelets you wear? Do you just really like them or something..?" She giggles and I stop walking and look down at my shoes in shame. "Well no not exactly. I do like them but that's not why I wear them."

"Ashton no you don't. Why would you do that to yourself?" She starts to cry and starts to pull back my bracelets to reveal my wrists but I pull them away from her. "Bailey please. I'm okay. I haven't done it in a while i'm just covering up my old scars. Don't cry for me okay?"

"I'm sorry. I just cant stand knowing you felt that much pain. It hurts me to see that."

I put my hands on her cheeks and wipe the tears. I couldn't take it anymore I needed to have her in my arms. I pull her into a hug and I start to cry as she cries into my chest. "Shh Bailey it's okay."

"I..I love you Ashton."

I hold her so I can seesee her face.

"I love you more." I plant my lips on hers and it feels like a million sparks of energy go off in my stomach. It was the most amazing feeling. I love her so much. we stand there under the tree laying up against the trunk for hours talking about our lives and how lucky we were to had found each other. She's so beautiful. I hope I don't screw up this like I've screwed up the rest of my life. She's my perfect beautiful ray of sunshine.
