You and Flowey talk for what seemed like ages. He tells you about the monsters here and explains that none of them are particularly friendly. You asked if he wanted to come with you when you leave what he called "The Ruins" but he declined. Getting up from your sitting position, you stretch before looking to Flowey once more. "Are you sure you don't want to come? The way you speak of these other monsters makes it seem like having someone else there would be a blessing."

"No. You can't show any weakness here. They'll eat you alive if you depend on others too much and, well, none of them really like me. For one I'm too frail and for two, I didn't get off on the right foot with a set of brothers. Unfortunately they hold a lot of power here and this happens to be the only place that they can't get me. I really like you but, I think I'd be making your chances of survival slimmer if I came along." You're really disappointed but you hide it well. You both wish each other luck before leaving to navigate the ruins.

After countless puzzles, most of which almost ending your life, you find a candy bowl. A sign is posted above that says TAKE ONE, your stomach growls, pushing you to take one. You quickly eat the delicious candy and continue on your way. You come across a room that has cobwebs everywhere, there is a sign here that says the cost of a spider donut. Looking at the money that some of the monsters have given you for your kindness, you deduct that you have enough and decide to buy one. You put the correct amount of money on the web and wait. You watch as a little army of spiders come and collect the gold before disappearing. A few moments later they return with a donut that has web frosting on it. You smile and thank them before continuing on through the ruins.

You reach a small patch of leaves on the ground with a ghost on them. He appears to be sleeping. You don't want to wake him but you need to continue on. You look around for a way to get around him without waking him up but there doesn't seem to be any. You sigh as you walk up to him. "Um, excuse me?" You wait but the ghost doesn't move. "Mister ghost?" still nothing. You reach down and poke him. He lazily opens his eyes and stares at you. "Um, hi. I'm sorry to wake you but there isn't any other way to get through. Could you maybe move so I can pass." He continues to stare blankly at you. His stare makes you uncomfortable but you stand your ground.

After a few minutes of silence, the ghost finally speaks up. "You want to get past me huh? Well, I'll let you pass if, and only if, you do something for me." Surprised, you shake your head signifying that you want him to continue. "I have a cousin that has become quite famous down here, I want you to tell him that he's being an ass by not visiting me. He told me he would but never did. You'll know him when you see him. By the way, my name is Blooky." and with that, Blooky fades away. You stare at the spot that he previously was for a moment longer. Looking up, you decide to continue on and hope that there isn't much left of the ruin.

You made it to the house that Flowey described but quickly hide in a small bush when the door flies open. You watch as a goat lady, which from the information you have been given, you assume to be Toriel. She walks out of the quaint home and starts walking towards the direction you had just come from. As she is about to leave she stops. Your heart starts pounding rapidly when she turns and looks around, you swear that she can see you because her red eyes seem to be staring through the leaves on the bush and right into your. You watch as she turns back to the hallway and disappears into the ruins. You decide to wait and see if she would come back.

After a minute or so you run into the house and see that you have three options. One, you can go to your left, from the looks of the room it seems to serve as a living and dining room. Two, to your right is a hallway with multiple doors, you assume that that's where the bedrooms are. Three, in front of you is a set of stairs leading down. From your options you deduct that the stairs are most likely to lead you out of the ruins. Praying that you are right, you run down the stairs and into a long corridor like hallway. It seems to stretch on forever as you stare into the darkness that doughnuts you to try and escape. You hope that you have enough time to go back up the stairs because suddenly, this doesn't seem like the right option. Unfortunately, your times up. You hear the front door open and heavy footsteps enter the house. Scared of what the goat lady would do to you if she found you, you silently run down the hallway. You follow the twists and turns until you find yourself in front of a large purple door. You try to push it open but it's too heavy for you to open. You step back to try to find another way through when you hear her footsteps getting closer. Deciding that you don't have enough time, you throw your body weight onto the door multiple times before it finally gives and you find yourself face first into snow.

You quickly stand up and rush to close the door. You were then hit with the cold air that surrounds you. You look around to see snow? Looking at your surroundings you also see a small camera placed in a bush. You walk up to it and wave. Maybe that made someone's day, that is if anyone is watching. Backing away you look down at your outfit. A strappy black crop top that showed lots of skin, tightly fitted ripped, light wash, jeans and your favorite black combat boots. (Pictures are of your outfit) A thought crosses your mind that you aren't quite dressed for the cold. Wait, I thought I was underground. So, how is it snowing? You push the thought away as you shiver and start to walk towards, what you hope to be, warmth.

After a few minutes of walking, you come across a heavy stick. Trying, and failing to pick it up, you decide to leave it. It seems to be pretty sturdy so there's no reason to do anything else, and of course, you can't pick it up. You take a few steps forward before stopping abruptly. Now, you've seen and heard plenty of things that have scared you but, nothing could have prepared you for the sound of a stick breaking. Not only does that mean that you aren't alone but, that also means that whoever is following you is quite strong.

You turn hoping that the stick that broke wasn't the one behind you. Your heart drops when you see the stick that was in one piece only seconds before, is now broken. You start to feel fear bubble up in you but you quickly push it down. I bet it was just the wind. There is nothing around, especially nothing big enough to break that stick, right? You start walking forward again, waiting for whoever, or whatever, is out there to pounce on you. You reach a bridge that seems to serve the purpose of keeping people out. The only problem with that is, the bars are way too wide to stop anyone. You're about to cross it when you hear snow crunching behind you. You gulp as the mysterious thing, stop directly behind you.

"HUMAN, DON'T YOU KNOW HOW TO GREET A NEW PAL?"
