You were beyond terrified. Standing in front of four of the most important people in your life who were wondering about your reactions. It's still kinda hard for you to believe that these people actually care. The last person who actually cared for you is up in heaven watching everything happen to you. That is if God does exist. But it's hard to say these four don't care about you with the way they're staring at you. Slight worry along with a lot of confusion. Standing in front of you are some of the most amazing people in the world but you can't seem to care. Not when they're asking you THAT question. Not when they're asking you to relive the past. The past that you wish you could forget. The mental and physical abuse you endured for the past 7 years. No matter how much you trust them and care about them you can't tell them, you can't bring yourself to purposely remember the worst moments of your life. Looking up to meet their gaze once again you sigh, "I'm sorry but... I can't tell you."

"Sweetheart, it can't be that bad that you can't tell us. Or is it that you... don't trust us." Sans, the person you trust above all others still believes that you can't trust him. The thought alone brings you to tears.

"I-It's not a-about trust S-Sans. I-It's about something c-completely different." You chocked sobs break the sentence some but no one seems to mind and no one seems to want to comfort you either. You take a deep breath and try to calm your breathing. "I trust you guys, I really do. It's just that... certain things I'd rather not talk about and this is one of those things. I have no problem telling you guys about my childhood before the incident but anything after... that might be a harder topic to discuss. You'll just have to bear with me. I'm sure there is stuff all of you have a hard time talking about so please to make me talk about the thing that I can't talk about much less let my mind wander and think about it." You let out a shaky breath and meet their gaze once more.

"Ok, ok. We won't ask again. But please keep in mind that we're here for you, ok?" You nod in response to Sans's sincere words. "Alright, here's another question that might be easier for you to answer. Why did the topic of pregnancy come up? What were ya'll talking about."

You, Alphys, and Undyne share a glance at each other before facing the skelebros again. Before you can explain, Alphys take center stage, "O-oh, (Y/n) was just wondering why she hadn't gotten her period yet and was worried that something was wrong or that she might be pregnant." She must be comfortable around you now because she hardly ever studders anymore.

Both brothers turn their attention back to you. "Period?" You think back to what Alphys had said. She mentioned that periods are nonexistent in the underground. That explains the dumbfound looks your receiving from the skeleton brothers.

"HUMAN (Y/N), WHAT IS THIS PERIOD THAT ALPHYS SPEAKS OF AND WHY WOULD IT MAKE YOU WORRY OF POSSIBLE PREGNANCY?"

"Oh, uh. You see. A period is a way for human females to dispose of unused eggs inside their bodies. Eggs are what a males sperm goes into to impregnate a female. Once a month the female body has to release an egg because their bodies are always creating more in something called a uterus. The uterus is also where a woman carries the unborn child until birth. A period is a release of that now useless egg to make room for a new one. But when a female gets pregnant, their period stops for the time the baby is inside of them. As the body is now trying to keep the child alive, it is no longer creating extra eggs. So when a period doesn't come there is a possibility that you are pregnant. That or something has gone wrong in your body and you need to go to the doctor." You wait for the information to sink in while the brothers stare at you with confusion written on their faces. "Uh, any questions?"

"SO, YOU ASSUMED YOU WERE PREGNANT BECAUSE THE PERIOD THING DIDN'T HAPPEN?"

"Um, yeah pretty much."

"How does the male get the sperm inside of the women?" Sans's question caught you off guard. With the way he acts, you'd think he'd know already.

"It's through, uh, sex." Realization strikes both of them at the same time and they quickly look at each other for confirmation.

"HUMAN, DOES THAT MEAN THAT YOU HAVE HAD SEX BEFORE?" You can't say that you weren't expecting it. You knew the conversation would come up eventually but it was still strange to be discussing this with the two people your living with.

"Oh, uh. Yes, yes I have had sex before." You pray that they questions end there but to no one's surprise, Sans has one more.

"Does that mean that you have or had a boyfriend?" Now THAT question caught you off guard. Your eyes shoot to his as you think of the best way to answer that.

"Well, no. Not exactly."

"IF IT WASN'T WITH A SIGNIFICANT OTHER THEN WHO WAS IT WITH?" And... you were back to square one with the topic you wanted to avoid.

"Uh, who it was with doesn't really matter at the moment. Like I said earlier, there are some things I'd rather avoid talking about and this is one of them."

"Doll, does this have anything to do with those break downs you have." You knew he was talking about your memories. The ones that leave you in tears and gasping for air. Where your rocking back and forth mumbling to yourself that it was in the past. That you're somewhere safe now. You avoid his gaze so he takes that the answer is a yes.

"HUMAN (Y/N), WHAT HAPPENED ON THE SURFACE?"

You meet his gaze for a second before bringing your eyes to the floor again. "Paps, like I tell Sans, the past is the past. It's there for a reason. Whatever happened already happened. There's no reason to relive it and possibly cause others to worry. The past is in the past so let's leave it there. Please." Not waiting for his response you swiftly make your way to your room and close the door. You sit down on your bed and take deep breaths. Once calm you lay down and drift into sleep. Just as the blackness consumes you, you feel the bed shift with Sans's added weight as he lies next to you and wraps his arms around your waist to pull you as close to him as possible. You let out a content sigh and you let sleep take over.
