No proof, not much, but you saw enough

I sat across from Calum at a small coffee shop, both of us quiet as we sipped at our coffee's. It was our third time seeing each other since I met him at his party. Things were slightly awkward, but we kept meeting up and hanging out. With each time we hung out, I seemed to like him more and more. I had no clue if he liked me back. I wished he did.

"Do you have a favorite movie?" he suddenly asked me, his brown eyes staring into my green ones.

"A favorite movie? Yeah, I do." I nodded. "I really like Finding Nemo." I smiled and took another sip of my coffee.

"Finding Nemo? The cartoon movie?" His eyebrows raised, showing his surprise.

"It's a classic." I shrugged. It was a great movie. That's all I could say. "Do you have one?"

"Yep. It's Dumb and Dumber."

I laughed, totally surprised by his response. He seemed like a person who would like action and suspense. Not some stupid comedy.

"What about your favorite food?" He asked, leaning forward on his elbows.

"I love..." I smirked. "Asian food. I bet you could make some great rice, hm?"

He gasped and placed a hand on his heart in mock hurt.

"Ouch. I'm hurt. FYI, I'm not Asian. I'm Kiwi." He laughed and shook his head. "But I like Asian, too. And Chinese."

"Kiwi?" I giggled. "Like, the fruit?"

"Yep. How'd you know? I'm 100% a fruit." He laughed, which made me blush ever so slightly. Oh, did I like him.

"I like fruits. So I like you," I teased. And I wasn't lying. I like fruits. And I like Calum.

"And I like you." He smiles a little, and I see his cheeks turn pink.

He means it. He really does like me. Maybe not in the same way, but he does like me.

I saw enough. I know enough. He likes me.
