After Jennifer knew she was only a soul, she wanted to rebel and run away from home. She went to a place far away from her family.
"Where should I go now?" she asked herself.
After walking for several minutes, she saw a park that looks very familiar to her. It was the park she used to play with her friends back then when she was only 8. She sat down on a bench and asks herself once again,
"What should I do now? Now that I'm only a soul that wanders around and do nothing."
She laid down and covered her eyes, slowly and reluctantly, she uncovered her eyes, she blinked, closed her eyes and blinked again. Streaks of sunlight penetrate her eyes and blinded her, Jennifer then sat up, and rubbed her knuckles onto her eyes. After a few second, her sight began to be clear, Jennifer glared at someone, there was a girl who is approaching her and she rubbed her eyes once again and asked that girl,
"Excuse me? Who are you?" Jennifer asked,
The girl sat down beside her and said,
"I'm obviously a soul like you."
"Oh... By the way, do you have a name?" Jennifer asked,
"Yes, my name is Sharmaine," she replied
"Since we're both souls, how about we talk about things? I just knew that I was a soul a few hours ago, It was terrifying." Jennifer said,
"For me, I've been a soul for a couple of years," she replied,
"It must be tough I guess?" Jennifer wondered,
"Not really," she replied
"What do you mean?" Jennifer asked,
"You know, in those years, I started doing things that make me more comfortable, that's why I'm kind of getting used to it," she replied.
Jennifer nodded and looked up in the sky,
"What about you? What are your plans from now on?" Sharmaine asked,
"I still don't know what to do, maybe giving me an idea?" she said,
"Hmm... Maybe start on getting familiar with this place." Sharmaine replied,
"Okay, I'll do that," she said
After a long conversation, Sharmaine stood up,
"What's the matter?" Jennifer asked,
"Nothing, by the way, I need to go," she replied,
"Where will you go?" Jennifer asked,
"You know, I got a lot of things to do and a lot of things to fix," she replied,
"Ok I understand, maybe come back here sometimes, maybe we'll meet again," Jennifer said,
Sharmaine smiled and said, "Of course, I won't forget about you and this place."
"Before you go, can you give me a piece of advice on this soul stuff?" Jennifer asked,
"Just don't scare anyone, that's all," she replied.
Jennifer chuckled and thanked Sharmaine; she waved at her as Sharmaine walked away. Sharmaine waved back and yelled as she disappeared out of thin air,
"Goodbye Jennifer, I'll see you again sometime!"
"Okay be safe!" she yelled.
She went for a swing because she doesn't have anything to do. She remembered that she hadn't introduced to her, but Sharmaine yelled her name a while ago. She remembered a friend from her childhood who has died from a car accident, also named Sharmaine.
