The Mask

CHAPTER 2

Trevor Tomlinson started studying at the age of 4 in pre-school. As a student, he is self- motivated, has high IQ, always believes in his-self, intelligent and loves to study. That's why he is a persistent honor student during his pre-school days. He is also a kind and positive person.

But all of these had changed through time. It's because he is the most intelligent in their classroom. They called him names like "Nerd" and "knows it all." It is also because they are envious of him, they are insecure about him. Yet, Trevor didn't mind them and continued to work hard.

One time, his friends were teasing him too much but he decided to keep silent and ignore them. His friends were irritated because Trevor didn't mind them and continued to walk, his friends decided to follow him and started teasing him, and then Trevor asked them "Why are you guys following me?"

"Oh, you can speak? so you're not a mute after all!" a tall boy said and the whole bunch laughed at his remark.

"Stop! I said stop it!"

"Geez, you're too loud," a long-haired guy said, irritated.

"You punk!"

They hold Trevor's hands and punched him numerous times in the face.

The bullies stopped following him and Trevor went home bleeding.

"You better keep your mouth shut and never tell your parents and the teachers about what happened. Understood?" He nodded in fear.

Trevor locked himself in his room all day, He didn't eat his dinner.

Trevor is still thinking about how to solve his problem with his friends. He realized that he shouldn't waste his time thinking about them instead he should focus on his studies. The only solution is to continue ignoring them.
