(Your POV)

You looked down at your phone, reading over the conversation you just had with your mother. You had already told her shooting would finish later than normally since you had started shooting the movie an hour late due to problems with the studio.

Mother: Okay, ask Kaori if he can take you home. He will probably not mind.

You sighed upon reading the text message, you didn't want to be with him. Even though you always followed your mother's orders, this was beyond what you could give. You weren't in the mood to be alone with him in a car so you decided you would just take the train and hide the truth from her. Unfortunately for you, luck wasn't by your side.

"Let me walk you home," Himura suddenly surprised you.

"I would prefer not to," you replied, continuing walking to the station.

"It's late (Y/N)," he said, "who knows who's out there, waiting for a pretty face?"

"Even if I let you," you began, "people will recognize you."

"Well, what if I drive you home?"

"You don't even have a driver's license, you're underage," you continued walking, ignoring whatever he was saying.

"You know," he took his phone out, "your mother texted me."

You froze in your place, exhaling loudly, of course she did. Himura and your mother were quite close, honestly. She was the one who helped him make it big since it was with her when he acted in his first mayor role. With just 3 movies and a few cameos, he had become a fan favourite.

"Fine," you eventually gave up.

You followed him to his car. He had one of those black cars with tinted windows. You got inside, his chauffeur greeting you. You sat on the left side, as close to the window as possible, leaving a huge space between the two of you.

"Don't need to be so stiff," he laughed. "I don't bite."

'Jerk,' you thought.

The ride home wasn't silent. He kept talking to you about the amount of fangirls he had and about himself in general. You were getting a bit tired of his rambling and before you knew it, you drifted to sleep. You were awoken by a hand shaking you.

"(Y/N)," the voice sang, "we're here."

You slowly opened your eyes. You yelped in surprise as you saw his silver eyes too close to your liking.

"Chill (Y/N)," he smiled. "I swear I didn't do anything."

You frowned your brow but didn't say anything. You got out of the car and looked around you. The car hadn't left you at the door since it was prohibited for vehicles that weren't residential.

"Do you need me to walk you home?" He grinned, his eyes shining in the moonlight.

"No," you said rather dryly, "thank you," you added.

As you were about to say goodbye, he suddenly hugged you. You were stiff against his embrace. Fortunately, the hug didn't last too long.

"Tell your mother I said hello," he smiled and waved you off.

'He can be such a flirt sometimes,' you thought, 'but other times, he just craves attention...'

You knew him far more than you would've liked to admit. He was bullied at school for liking theatre so much and became somewhat of an outcast, so, in a way, you felt bad for him. You also knew about his situation at home. His father had never looked after him. He never cared about him. And his mother disappeared from his life a long time ago. So, in a way, he saw your mother as his own. Your mother after all, showed him the same love she showed you when you were little. You felt sorry for Himura since he was unaware about the truth behind your mother's appearances.
