The rainy season had begun. It was a wonderful time of the year. The sound of the raindrops falling on the ground and the smell of the wet ground always brought back happy memories from your childhood. Times where you and your mother were happy. When you played in the backyard and stomped on the puddles with those blue rain boots matching your mother's. You loved the rain.

Unfortunately, you weren't able to enjoy the first few days of the rainy season due to your cold. You had catched it the night you had spent with Karma in your pajamas but you had to admit you didn't regret it.

"Hey (Y/N)," Sugino called your name as he ran up to where you were. He was having trouble catching up to you because of the big, voluptuous sports bag he was carrying. "I brought my baseball equipment with me, do you wanna play?"

"Of course I do!" You exclaimed excitedly. It looked like Sugino had made sure today wasn't going to rain since not a single cloud could be seen.

Sugino began taking the things out of the bag which caught most of the class's attention.

"Mind if we join Sugino?" Kurahashi grinned, her eyes shimmering with excitement.

In the end, the whole class got involved in the game. You were divided into two groups. You were with Nakamura, Sugino, Nagisa and a few others and you were going against Karma, Kayano, Kanzaki and the rest. Sugino quickly explained the rules and once everything was clear, you began playing.

Your team was the one to bat so, as expected, Sugino was the first one to go to show you how it was done. As soon as the ball rolled in, he swung his bat with an amazing force and managed to throw it into the woods. He ran through the bases as the other team tried to catch the ball and eliminate him but they were too late and he managed to score a home run.

"Yes!" You exclaimed excitedly as you high fived Sugino. "That was incredible!"

"It could have been better," he sheepishly rubbed the back of his neck, "if we had been against the baseball team I'm sure they would have been able to eliminate me."

It was now your turn to bat. You prepared yourself and stood in the stance Sugino had taught you. You focused on the ball but soon noticed something was wrong. Karma was standing just a few meters away from you.

"Be careful not to harm yourself princess," he grinned. 

'Princess!?' You thought.

You rolled your eyes. Seems like he had upgraded your nickname... 

"We wouldn't want an accident to happen, now would we?" He continued teasing you.

"What?!" You managed to say. Looking around for Sugino, you sent him a desperate stare, silently asking if that was allowed. To your dismay, he nodded his head.

You huffed, you had to concentrate on the game. You focused on the ball, trying your best to ignore Karma's comments but it was quite difficult to. In the end, you were eliminated since every time you had tried to hit the ball, one of his remarks would distract you.

"I can't believe it!" You complained. "What kind of strategy is this?"

"Like it?" He grinned swinging his arm over your shoulder and ruffling your hair.

"You're such a cheater," you puffed your cheeks, playfully punching his arm.

"Hey, what was that for?" He laughed at your attitude.

"That's for making me lose my focus," you said.

"Not my fault you get distracted just by my good looks," he teased.
